Industry insider TezFunz2 has always been a reliable go-to source for leaks and rumor clarifications as far as Grand Theft Auto is concerned. He was recently asked about the duration of support on the PS4 and Xbox One once Expanded and Enhanced is launched.
Unfortunately for last-gen console users, Tez2 seems quite confident in saying:
“A source, who has been very reliable in regards to GTA Online, has informed me long ago that Rockstar was considering dropping support for the last-gen consoles upon E& E launch. I’m not sure if this plan is still being considered by now or of Rockstar made some changed since then. Even so, considering it was on the table, I think we would see them dropping support sooner than usually expected.”
Can I Move My Xbox One Games And Saves To An Xbox Series X Or Series S
If you have an Xbox Live account on an Xbox One that has been connected to the internet, your game saves already live online in the cloud, and they will be available while youre signed in on your Xbox Series X or Series S. You can also transfer games and saves from an Xbox One console to an Xbox Series X or Series S over your network or via a USB hard drive. Initial Unveiling And Launch
Prior to the official unveiling, a rumor had circulated that the next Xbox console would be an “always on” system requiring a persistent Internet connection, though Microsoft had not confirmed this. Is The New Xbox Backward Compatible With Older Games
The Xbox Series X and Series S are backward compatible with all but a handful of Xbox One titles which were based around the no longer supported Kinect sensor. The Series X and Series S will also play the hundreds of Xbox 360 and Xbox titles that Microsoft made the Xbox One backward compatible with as well. Almost all backward-compatible titles will have a variety of graphical enhancements.
How Long Will The Xbox One Last

Using their fast storage access, the Xbox Series X and Series S allow you to suspend almost any game by creating a snapshot of it in system memory. You can then start another game, watch a movie, or even turn off and completely unplug your console. The next time you start the game in question, itll pick up exactly where you left off. Its a lot like switching between open apps on a smartphone, and you can do it with several games at once. Games already boot up faster on the new consoles because of their storage speed, and if youre playing more than one thing, switching between games using quick resume saves a lot of time and frustration because you skip any menus and save/load screens that you might otherwise be forced to navigate. And in the time weve been using the console, every time we boot up a game for the first time in weeks only to load up exactly where we left off in seconds is a delightful experience.

Microsoft is focusing production on the Xbox Series X/S, which has been in hot demand since it launched.
The Xbox One launched in November 2013. Now we’ve found out that, just over seven years later, Microsoft stopped manufacturing all Xbox One consoles.
This is because consumers are still struggling to get their hands on the Xbox Series X/S, which launched in November 2020.
For now, you might still find some retailers selling the Xbox One new as they sell out their stock, but eventually the primary market will be for used consoles.

How Much Do Xbox Consoles Cost
Before we discuss specifics, it’s important to consider the price of each Xbox console. While there are other factors that go into deciding if an Xbox One is right for you, the value for money is one of the most practical.

The NXE is all about dividing all your content into four key sections – Home, Community, OneGuide and Store – with each one flowing much like a social media feed. Think of it like a rolling homepage with all the important functions on each tab accessible quickly with the minimum of fuss.
Games now have their own homepages known as Game Hubs – from here you flit between captures screenshots or video, see your Achievements and more. So the more you and your friend’s play, the more populated these Hubs become. Players now have an increased friends cap as well 1,000 friends and can also follow other players, in much the same way that they would on Twitter.
The Store expands into four individual sub menus when selected – Games, Apps, Movies & TV and Music – and once again, everything is represented by large thumbnails with all the important functions are all front and centre. For those that love browsing digital titles, this clean and fresh UI is a godsend.
The Xbox One UI has had a lot of changes over the years, but the current version is far more user-friendly than PS4’s.

Xbox One Review: Kinect
There’s a good chance if you’re reading this review anytime after the initial first few months of launch that you don’t have access to a Kinect sensor, but we’ll round up its functions and usability because we’re thorough like that. The Kinect sensor has been re-vamped since its first introduction on Xbox 360. It can now monitor heart-rate and muscle density meaning the virtual drill-instructors on the Fitness App will be doing players more good than ever.
Kinect also comes into its own on the video calling in Skype. Not only does the sensor produce a streaming video of the player at a pretty reasonable quality, but if they get up and wander about the room, the camera will track them.
The sensor’s fidelity and spatial requirements have been vastly improved players no longer need to stand so far back from their TV set although players may find themselves having to repeat the odd voice command.
Kinect can also track more players up to four players can jump into a Kinect game now, and the sensor’s facial recognition technology can differentiate between them.
Finally, it’s worth pointing out that Kinect is better able to filter out intruding lights and sounds.
Unlike the previous iteration, the new Kinect module can work in almost pitch dark and isn’t interrupted by lights angled towards it. It’s also able to differentiate between the players voice and sounds coming out of the TV’s speakers.

It’s The End Of An Era
Microsoft has confirmed to The Verge that it has ceased manufacturing all Xbox One consoles.
While we learned back in July 2020 that the 4K-capable Xbox One X and all-digital Xbox One had been discontinued, Microsoft is now revealing that the base Xbox One model is also no longer in production.
