Original Story From May 2019

Its been almost a complete day since users of Microsofts Xbox gaming console have been reporting issues.

Around 12 hours back, reports erupted about the Xbox error code 0x87dd0006 sign in problem, which took a significant time to get resolved. Although Microsoft was quick to provide updates on the matter.

If youre running into errors attempting to sign in or access previously purchased content, our teams are aware and working to identify the cause. Well update here when we have more to provide.

Xbox Support

We have teams actively engaged on issues related to sign in and accessing previously purchased content. Well update again when weve identified the cause. Our status page will also have updates related to these issues.

Previous issues with sign in should now be resolved. We’re aware of users also running into issues with purchasing new content over Xbox Live and teams are actively engaged on that as well. We’ll have additional updates to provide soon.

But now, were again seeing reports of similar problem on social media. Take a look:

Microsoft has again offered a quick update, saying they are aware of this re-occurrence of the problem, and are working to fix it.

Xbox Live Down Steps On How To Fix Network Error

Xbox Live is currently suffering from several issues, which clearly disappoints many fans.

“It’s always Xbox for some reason. Every other platform gets to enjoy the game while the servers on xbox live goes down after an hour of being up. Can’t make this shit up,” said one of the Xbox fans on Twitter.

Another player shared that he experienced the network issue when he was playing “Gears of War 2.” He added that he was looking for the Horde map he is usually playing on Xbox 360.

Xbox Live sign-in going down only on the Xbox 360 at the exact moment I’m trying to find out which Horde map I used to play in Gears of War 2 is some incredibly random timing.

Marc Normandin

The current issue can be quite annoying, especially if you are in the middle in-game. If you are one of the gamers experiencing it, here’s how you can fix the issue and several reasons why Xbox Live is down.

Account & Profile Access Are Unavailable

Update: Xbox Support has advised that sign-in is back up and running as of 1.25 pm AEDT.

Original story: Xbox Live core services are down, Microsoft has confirmed.

Impacted services include accounts and profiles which basically means everything else too.

You may not be able to sign-in to your Xbox profile, may be disconnected while signed in, or have other related problems. Features that require sign-in like most games, apps and social activity wont be available, Microsoft advised.

The error seemed to pop up at around 7.15 am AEDT today, 26 February. Microsofts last update was at 8.19 am AEDT.

While likely a coincidence, People Can Flys Outriders demo is available this morning. Regardless of how its availability impacted Xbox Live, it certainly means that Xbox players cant begin download of the demo until these issues are corrected.

Well keep you posted as we learn more.

Is Xbox Live Almost Back Up

The Xbox Support has now posted another tweet notifying users that the service is back up however, it turns out that the service may not be entirely back, as a number of Twitter users continue to report the issues.

Users should now be able to sign in to Xbox Live again. We appreciate your reports, we’re here & we’re listening.

It appears that certain users are facing issues with the Friends lists and Party Chat feature which may still be broken. Apart from the Live Party feature and Friends lists, the outage is also preventing users from launching video apps like Netflix and Hulu.

In the meantime, the company’s Live Status page says that the services are back up now except for the Rocket League on Xbox One, which has been hit with an undefined issue.

Restart Forza Horizon 5 And Your Gaming Device

This may sound like an elementary fix, but its still a troubleshooting method that you should apply since it only takes a few minutes to cross it out on your list.

In rare cases, the Disconnected from Server error can happen due to software-related bugs. Resetting your Forza Horizon 5 alongside your gaming device will allow you to get rid of such bugs since they tend to happen due to anomalies that are unlikely to arise the next time you launch your game.

Submit A Ticket Forza Horizon 5

When the servers are running fine and you cant seem to find a solution to the Disconnected from Servers error, your best will be contacting the support team of Forza Horizon 5 since theyll have the necessary tools to find the root of the error for you and guide you through a potential solution.

Submit a support ticket to Forza Support and explain all the troubleshooting methods youve tried to fix the error by yourself. Providing screenshots and even a short video clip can help the support team save some time and allow them to get back to you faster.

Depending on the time of the year, you should hear back from the support team within a day or two. The first reply may not always include a solution, however, since they can need more time or require you to provide additional logs.

Though there wont be much to do when the servers are down, you can spend your time doing some reading on Forza Horizon 5 or watching videos to improve your gameplay until the developers fix the servers and the Disconnected from Server error. If its been a while since you acquired your last vehicle, you can check out all the cars in Forza Horizon 5 and decide which one of them youd like to unlock once you get back into the game.

Check The Xbox Network Status On The Official Xbox Website

To use the official method of checking the Xbox network status, launch the Xbox Status site in a web browser on your Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebook, iPhone, iPad, or Android phone.

On the Status site, right at the top, youll see a message that gives you a general overview of various Xbox services. If this message reads All Services Up and Running, it means that Xbox servers arent facing any outages and are running just fine.

To check the status of a particular Xbox online service, scroll down to the Services section on the Xbox Status site. Here, click the service for which you want to know the online status.

For example, if you have issues buying games from Xbox, click the Store & Subscriptions menu, and then check the status for Purchasing Games.

If the status message says Up and Running, theres no issue on the Microsoft end. The issue is likely with your console or your internet connection.

If the status message reads Limited or Major Outage, theres an issue with that particular Xbox server. In this case, you cant do anything but wait for Microsoft to fix the issue and get the service back up and running.

And thats the official method for checking the Xbox networks status!

Xbox Team Still Working On Fix

Xbox Live server issues have continued for hours, and the Microsoft team is still looking to find a fix for the issue.

The latest update from the team suggests it’s more far-reaching than just log in problems, including issues purchasing games and hopping into Xbox Live parties as well.

With the problems only getting worse, we expect Xbox Live servers will be down for hours more.

Why Was Xbox Live Down

The official Microsoft Xbox status page announced the outages during peak gaming hours in the US on Thursday night.

It confirmed that there were several areas of Xbox Live affected including people not being able to sign into their accounts, issues with multiplayer gaming and people not being able to purchase through their online store.

Users also reported problems with starting cloud games or being unexpectedly disconnected from games while playing.

Users should once again be able to sign-in, complete purchases and join chat sessions. Thank you for your patience and as always, we’re listening.

Xbox Support

In a tweet, the company said at the time: We are aware that users may not be able to sign-in to Xbox Live at this time.

Our teams are currently investigating to fix this issue. We will update here and on when we have more information to share!

The same Twitter account tweeted four hours later, saying: Our teams are continuing their investigation and have found that users experiencing sign-in issues may have issues with Purchasing Content and Party Chat as well.

We will send additional updates here and on when we have more information to share.

Several social media users who have recently bought the new Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S angrily tweeted the company.

How To Fix Disconnected From Server Error In Forza Horizon 5

Why not share with your friends?

You’ll need to step outside the car as the servers are down.

The great migration from the U.K. to Mexico has started for Forza Horizon fans since the fifth addition to the series went live on Nov. 5.

Though developers try to iron out as many bugs as possible before a games release, some unexpected errors can always arise at the last minute when players flood into the servers.

Forza Horizon 5 players from all the platforms were struggling with the Disconnected from Server Error, preventing players from using the games Multiplayer features. The error itself can be annoying, but luckily there are a few troubleshooting methods that you can try out to fix it manually.

If theres a major patch or a sudden increase in Forza Horizon 5s player count, however, the chances are that the Disconnected from Server error will appear to be server-related problems and players will have no choice but to wait for a fix to roll out. When the servers get over-run with more players than expected, they may struggle to keep up with the demand and go down as a result. When the servers go down, errors like the Disconnected from Server may start appearing since the games online features wont work.

Heres how you can fix the Disconnected from Server error in Forza Horizon 5.

Fix #: Power Cycle The Router

If your Xbox runs a fully updated software and there are no server issues at all, your next move is to ensure that you refresh the router. You can do that by turning off the router and unplugging it from the power source for 30 seconds.

Doing a full power cycle is recommended to be performed once every few days.

Titanfall 2 Fans Fear The Worst As Servers ‘destroyed’ Across All Platforms

  • 0

Update : It seems the servers are working again on Xbox for now.

Hopefully it’ll stay that way!

Original story: It’s been a horrible week for Respawn Entertainment in general, with Apex Legends hackers initially “ruining a holiday” for the developer, and now the servers for Titanfall 2 appear to have been hacked across all platforms.

The issue seems to have been caused by a series of DDoS attacks on the servers which are causing absurdly high ping levels. This is the same issue that has been plaguing the PC version of Titanfall for a very long time now, which Respawn has yet to have been able to fix, causing some fans to believe this really could be “the end for Titanfall.”

STATUS REPORT :// reports indicate that pc and xbox are officially completely ddosed and unplayable. He has done it, utterly done it.The hacker known as jeanue has destroyed titanfall 2 on all platforms. just an update on how the situation is going.

Respawn has previously acknowledged that the team is working behind the scenes to fix issues with the PC version of Titanfall, although it looks like they’ve got a much bigger problem on their hands now. The vast majority of them are now working on Apex Legends, with supposedly just a handful of people left on the Titanfall series.

Did you run into issues with Titanfall over the weekend? Let us know in the comments below.

Swap Out Your Dns Servers

Xbox Servers Down!!!

The most recent occurrence of the Disconnected from Servers error could be bypassed by changing DNS addresses. Most players use the default DNS servers that are appointed by their internet service provider While these DNS servers work fine without error, they can also go down or cause inconsistencies.

Changing your DNS server to a more known one will allow you to troubleshoot your existing DNS address and get rid of the Disconnected from Server error.

The way youll be able to change your DNS will depend on your gaming system since consoles and PCs have different user interfaces.

Growtopia Will Be Shutting Down On Consoles At The End Of July

Ubisoft has confirmed that it will be shutting down the servers for its MMO Growtopia on consoles, and the date of the shutdown is July 30th. Growtopia launched on Xbox One, PS4, and Switch last July but failed to establish a large player base. The announcement of the shutdown was actually made in April but it did not receive any coverage as far as we could see, and it only came to our attention when looking at the console support pages to check for upcoming game closures. The shutdown means that anyone playing on console will have to use up their remaining gems by close of service if they want any use from them. The full statement from Ubisoft is below:

Hello Growtopians,

When we launched Growtopia on consoles in July, we wanted to bring the beloved features of Growtopia to PlayStation, Xbox and Switch, giving console players the opportunity to create infinite worlds and share their astounding creations with their friends online.

In January, we shared An Update about the State of Consoles and we made the decision to reduce content and support for the console version of Growtopia, in order to allocate all resources back to support the Mobile and PC version.

There is no easy way to say this, but we will be discontinuing our service for Growtopia on consoles in July to allocate all our resources to the Mobile and PC version. This decision did not come lightly, but ultimately after exploring several options, the console version of Growtopia is not sustainable.

Xbox Live Is Down For Some Players Across Xbox One And Xbox Series X/s

Xbox Live is currently down for some players across all Xbox platforms, which includes Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Within the past hour, a drastic rise in reported problems from Xbox users have started to appear, many of which state that the online gaming component associated with Xbox as a whole isn’t working. And while this might be a bit troublesome to hear about, the problems in question are actually happening at a number of different websites and services at this moment.

As a whole, the aspects of Xbox Live that are said to be dealing with problems come with the service’s core features. Users who have been reporting problems within the hour have largely said that they cannot play games online in any capacity. Others have found that they can’t even properly log-in to their profile. Some have also said that the Microsoft Store on Xbox consoles has also been down, although this problem seems to be less widespread.

As mentioned, the underlying problem behind these Xbox Live issues stems from the fact that Akamai is currently down. If you’re unaware of what Akamai is, essentially, it’s a service that hosts a large number of platforms that are connected to the internet in some capacity. Akamai experienced a drastic loss of many services today around midday, which then led to other platforms that it supports, such as Xbox Live, then going down. PlayStation was also affected as a result of this outage, with PSN also experiencing issues for many players across PS4 and PS5.
