No. Its true that the Xbox one sold poorly compared to Sonys PlayStation 4, but in many ways the Xbox series X marks a shift in how Microsoft views the traditional console cycle. Rather than thinking in generations and hardware, the company is now focusing on providing ongoing access to games as a subscription service, similar to how Netflix or Spotify operates.

Why Are The Xbox Series Consoles So Tough To Find

It was only a matter of time before Xbox restock plans for Black Friday leaked, and it looks like Walmart is going first. According to this in-store advertisement shared by , Walmart is planning to hold an Xbox restock on Black Friday. If you’re a part of the Walmart Plus subscription service, you get access to the console four hours earlier than anyone else. The good news, if you don’t feel like paying for a $13 per month subscription to Walmart Plus, is you can start a 15-day free trial right now. That means you can cancel after you got your console, unless you decide it’s worth it to keep paying for early access to things from Walmart.
It’s unlikely that Walmart will be the only retailer with an Xbox restock planned, but this is the first reliable piece of info we’ve seen. As we hear more, you’ll see it updated here.

The constantly moving wall of text usually shows “Out of Stock” at all stores, but when the bot detects the Series X being in stock somewhere, you’ll be one of the first to know, if you’re monitoring the stream. You can also follow Cameron Ritz, who runs the stream, on Twitter for updates.
Don’t buy from strangers on Twitter: It’s never a good idea to buy the Xbox Series X from a random on Twitter who’s offering it to you at only a slight markup.
