Want to know more about the key similarities and differences between the two consoles? Heres everything you need to know about the PS5 vs Xbox Series X.;

The Xbox 360 Core System

Hitting the market day one with the Premium model, the Xbox 360 Core is simply a Premium console with no hard drive disk and no fancy chromed;parts.

Whatever you decide, do not buy these older models .

While you can now increase the memory up to 2TB with external USB storage, these two models are unreliable . Whats more, they dont have any HDMI output. So again, if you are to buy a FAT model, do not buy these.

Paving the way for the NXE an update released in 2008 that revamped the interface of the Xbox 360 and added a couple of new features, such as installing games on the hard drive;or enabling the use of external USB storage to expand the console storage, Microsoft released a new black model, with 6x more storage space than the Premium version, an HDMI port, and a built-in WiFi antenna. The Elite model.

Sold with a 120GB Hard Drive and slightly more reliable than the previous Xbox 360s.

Sound Control Supports A Quiet Gaming Environment

The Xbox video game system features sound controls that eliminate noise to enhance concentration. The Xbox 360 S console runs in a whisper-quiet mode, allowing you to play Xbox 360 games and watch movies without interference. What Is Xbox 360 Games On Demand

Games on Demand is a service on the Xbox Network Marketplace where you can buy full Xbox 360 and Xbox games. They are full versions of the games, and with only a couple of exceptions they perform exactly like the retail version. The games are stored on your hard drive or another storage device and can take up to 7GB of space, so make sure you have enough room before you download.

Xbox Series X Vs Ps: Specs

When it comes to specs, both Sony and Microsoft have taken a similar approach, though there are a few key differences to point out.;

The PlayStation 5 is powered by a custom-built version of the third generation AMD Ryzen chipset, packing in eight cores with the company’s new Zen 2 architecture and Navi graphics. The CPU runs at 3.5GHz. The GPU offers 36 compute units running at 2.23GHz and offering 10.28TFLOPs. Those parts are paired with 16GB of GDDR6 with a bandwidth of 448GB/s. It means the PS5 is able to support features like ray tracing a performance-intensive lighting technique that has previously been reserved to expensive high-end PC GPUs, and which we now know will be “built into the GPU hardware” for the PS5.

The PS5 will also support screen resolutions of up to 8K far higher than the standard 1080p HD of most peoples televisions, let alone that of the increasingly popular 4K. Itll also work at 120Hz refresh rates, allowing for super-smooth movement in games if you have a HDMI 2.1 compliant display. These are incredibly performance-intensive specs, so we wouldnt expect a game to hit these standards regularly , but the PS5 will at least make 4K/60fps a more common sight.;

The controller also still has a headphone jack but now includes a built-in microphone. If you don’t have a headset to hand, you can party chat just using the controller or send a voice message to a friend.;

The Xbox Series X, meanwhile, is incredibly impressive on paper.

Xbox Series X Vs Ps: Games

Over the last few months, we’ve been getting a clearer picture of the sort of experiences you can expect to see on the Xbox Series X and the PS5.

First off, Microsoft confirmed that Halo Infinite, aka Halo 6, is no longer a launch title for Xbox Series X. The Halo franchise is a big seller for Microsoft, so its delay will have been deliberated for a long time. It was supposed to arrive day one on Xbox Game Pass, too, showing Microsoft’s continued support for its game subscription service. Our first look at in-game footage was certainly thrilling, even if we quickly found out it had been captured on PC rather than Xbox Series X.

At launch, the Xbox Series X will offer the likes of Dirt 5, Yakuza: Like a Dragon and and Viking-themed Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Further down the line, expect titles such as Vampire: the Masquerade Bloodlines 2 and The Medium to hit the console – plus much more. Here’s the current list of confirmed Xbox Series X games.

Even more thrilling was the announcement of a Fable reboot at Microsoft’s , along with a new Forza installment, and a medieval fantasy RPG from Obsidian called Avowed. Sony has traditionally won when it comes to exclusive games, but Microsoft is certainly gaining ground for its next-gen console.

As for PS5 games, among the launch games are Astro’s Playroom that comes pre-installed on every console, as well as enticing exclusives such as and Demon’s Souls.

An Impressive Catalogue Of 2100+ Games

Halo, Gears of Wars, Alan Wake, Dead Rising, Amped, Forza Motorsport &Forza Horizon, Fable, Left 4 Dead, Project Gotham Racing, Blue Dragon, Viva Piñata, Lost Odyssey, or Mass Effect, the Xbox 360 has been a home for so many incredible licenses. If you add multiplatform titles such as the great Grand Theft Auto IV, the 360 totaled many more titles than the PS3 and Wii.

To give you something to compare it with, the PlayStation 3 has 1400+ games, and the Nintendo Wii counts about 1500+ titles.

All in all, the Xbox 360 still has a lot to offer to those whove never had the pleasure to own it before.

Without even mentioning the backward compatibility.

Xbox Game Pass Walkthrough

As of writing, there’s sadly no way to purchase backwards compatible Xbox 360 games via the Xbox One itself. They won’t appear in Xbox One search results, and there’s no section dedicated to it on the store. If you want to pick up any of the games on the list you don’t already own digitally, your best bet is to head to the Xbox Store and do a quick search. Alternatively, you can always purchase the discs from retailers.

How Much Do Games On Demand Titles Cost

Just because they might cost a bit more, however, doesn’t necessarily mean the Games on Demand version isn’t worth buying.

Microsoft has weekly specials and sales, as well as some massive sales throughout the year, that make Games on Demand titles pretty appealing.;The days of the prices being totally unjustifiably high are long gone.;Just about every new retail release also gets a digital Games on Demand version at or soon after release now as well, which is another positive change for the service.;

Xbox Series X Vs Ps: Price Comparison

Xbox One Consoles To Play Xbox 360 Games! (Play Xbox 360 Games on Xbox One)

The Xbox Series X price and PS5 price are identical.

Microsoft’s disc-based Xbox Series X console retails for $499 / £449 / AU$749, while the standard PS5 is also $499 / £449 / AU$749. It makes choosing between an Xbox Series X pre-order or a PS5 pre-order bundles a tough choice.

One of the reasons the PS4 proved the more popular console during the last generation was the fact that it launched at a more attractive price point of $399.99 / £349.99. That was a relative steal compared to the $499 / £429 Xbox One, which at launch had to factor in the cost of its ill-fated Kinect motion tracker. The Kinect was initially hailed as one of the key differentiators between the consoles, but proved unpopular with both developers and gamers, leading to Microsoft slowly phasing it out in an effort to drive the price of the overall package down with later console revisions.

Neither has made that mistake with their new consoles making the top-tier versions identically matched. It’s the digital-only versions then where the real differences become visible.

The digital-only Xbox Series S lands at $299 / £249 / AU$499 while the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition comes in at $399.99 / £359.99 / AU$599.95.

But it’s not a like-for-like comparison. Microsoft’s digital console is weaker than the others it focuses on 1440p resolution instead of 4K, and targets 60/120 fps. With the PS5 Digital Edition, however, it’s exactly the same spec as the standard edition ;just minus that physical disc tray.

$24999 Used Microsoft Store

Microsoft Stores dont resell used game consoles in the way GameStop does. Microsoft does do a lot of warranty work on Xbox 360 consoles though, and thats why it also offers refurbished consoles on its website. Right now the company is offering refurbished Xbox 360s with 250GB of storage for $249.99. Its by far, not the most attractive deal, but youre getting a refurbished console directly from the company that makes it along with a 90 day warranty, which isnt bad at all.

Can’t Buy Xbox 360 Games On The Marketplace

A few weeks ago there were lots of Ubisoft games on sale, so I went to purchase some games like Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed Ezio’s Collection and the compatible Xbox 360 version of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag. The Xbox One games, which I bought through the Microsoft Store, worked perfectly. But for Assassin’s Creed IV on the old marketplace there was no success because when I click on the “Confirm purchase” button, it would be indefinitely loading but it would never complete. I saw if buying the Season Pass worked, and it did . Now the same thing is happening when trying to buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The loading wheel keeps spinning, but no purchase completed.

Any workaround would be appreciated. I should add that I tested it on two different computers, I don’t have an Xbox 360 or a friend who owns it, I use the Argentinian marketplace and I tried it with Chrome and Firefox.

Running For 11 Years With Nine Different Xbox 360 Models

From 2005 to 2016, Microsoft manufactured and sold nine different iterations of its Xbox 360.

I want to stress the iteration part.

The Xbox 360 was first released in November 2005 and reigned alone on the seventh generation of consoles for a whole year .

While this whole competition-free year gave Microsoft an interesting head-start, with millions of units sold, the Xbox 360 turned out to be the most expensive console launch of all times.

How To Access Xbox 360 Titles On The New Xbox One Experience With Backwards Compatibility

How can I add the free xbox live gold games in my library ...

The New Xbox One Experience is finally here, and we’re running a series of quick how-to guides for the uninitiated!

In this guide, we’ll be showing you how to access your existing Xbox 360 discs and downloads, and where to purchase additional digital titles that are part of the Xbox One backwards compatibility list.

For those who might be unaware, it’s important to note that backwards compatibility is limited to the 104 titles listed below. In our recent interview with Xbox platform lead Mike Ybarra, he emphasised that Microsoft are keen to add new titles on a regular basis. It’s ultimately up to publishers, IP holders and developers whether or not their games end up as part of the Xbox backwards compatibility lineup, but it seems most major publishers are on board.

Below is a list of the titles that are available today as part of the first wave. Microsoft has already teased Halo Reach, Halo Wars, Skate 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Bioshock 1, 2 and Infinite for the second wave. Microsoft has also committed to providing backwards compatible Xbox 360 titles as part of the Games with Gold free titles promotion – that means Xbox Live subscribers on Xbox One will receive four playable titles for free every month.

Here’s the list so far:

  • A Kingdom for Keflings
  • Zuma
