Crossplay And Physical Editing

Why the Xbox Series X is sold out until 2022

As on other platforms, Among Us will feature crossplay and multiplayer between mobiles, PC and, now, consoles.

The only difference between the two console versions is that PlayStation players will have access to exclusive Ratchet & Clank cosmetics.

In addition to the Xbox and PlayStation versions of Among Us, fans will be able to get a physical copy of the hugely popular game.

The Crewmate edition of Among Us, which will come with a physical disc, some downloadable wallpapers, stickers, a Skeld map poster, a holographic keycard and all DLC, will cost about $ 30 / euro.

It will launch in Europe and the United Kingdom also on December 14, and in the United States, Canada and Latin America on January 11, 2022.

Xbox Series X Review: 6

So, here we are roughly half a year in to the Xbox Series X’s first year and, well, the console has been mechanically a big success. To date the console hasn’t locked up on me once and I’m still amazed at how quiet it is. The Xbox Series X’s design may not look very inspiring but it definitely does the job in terms of keeping things cool and quiet.

Where things have not been as great is on the gaming side of things, with me spending most of my time playing the third party Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on the system, as well as enhanced games that already exist such as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which is just fantastic running at 4K 60fps.

The truth is that the system is still suffering from the Halo Infinite no-show at launch, which if it had happened, would of given the Xbox Series X the launch battle victory. It didn’t, though, and that left the Xbox Series X to launch without any new AAA exclusive. As a result Sony PS5 walked away with the win and, while things haven’t been great on PlayStation 5 either over the first 6 months, it is now starting to see exclusives like Returnal and Ratchet and Klank: Rift Apart launch.

Xbox Series X, though, is still waiting on the promise of next-gen exclusive games. Halo Infinite is coming but is still half a year from releasing, while Microsoft’s nuclear option purchase of Bethesda means Series X and Series S are going to get plenty of exclusive new games, but when they will appear currently remains largely unknown.

Xbox Series X Latest News And Rumors

It’s all gone very quiet on the Xbox Series X restock front. The console has once again become the harder of the two in-demand next-gen machines to buy. Hopefully, this week sees multiple restocks to make up for the lack of drops over the last month, but if you desperately want a console right now there is in fact a way to get hold of one immediately.

Walmart still has the console available via the Xbox All Access scheme. To partake you’ll need to open a line of credit and pay $34.99 per month over the span of 24 months for your Xbox Series X console. . In both cases, you also get 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Meanwhile, Target announced a huge change to how it handles Xbox Series X restocks. No longer will it be waiting to drop stock in batches as it does with PS5 restock, instead Xbox Series X consoles will be available to buy when stores receive stock.

This essentially means that Target will no longer have nationwide stock drops, and instead, the console will just be available when each individual location receives inventory. We saw this new system come into effect last month when several Target stores offered the Xbox Series X for sale.

Xbox Series X Review: Unboxing And Design

The Xbox Series X design is a matte black rectangular prism.

As can be seen in the below Xbox Series X unboxing video, the console comes very securely packaged. The contents of the box include the console itself, as well as the new model Wireless Xbox Controller, batteries for the controller, a power lead, HDMI cable, and product and quick start guides.

The console itself is a black rectangular prism that’s more than twice as fat as the Xbox One X console that proceeded it. In terms of design, there is no doubting that the Series X is clean and minimalist, and I can see it blending into a lot of setups quite easily. In that sense, I think Microsoft has succeeded. This is a console that will not offend the eye.

The Xbox Series X alongside its predecessor flagship, the Xbox One X.

Equally, though, from my personal perspective, I feel the design is really uninspired. This is basically the safest play I can think of, and can’t help feeling just a little underwhelmed when looking at it. This is the most powerful games console on Earth but it looks even more dull than a NAS drive.

Naturally, for you it could look amazing. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, after all.

Getting the system set up physically is a piece of cake. You simply choose an orientation for the Xbox Series X . then plug in the power cord and connect the system to one of the TV’s HDMI ports with the included cable.

What Is Minecraft On Xbox Series X

The Xbox Series X and S represent the beginning of a new generation of console gaming, with powerful evolutionary hardware pushing groundbreaking features that we haven’t seen in the console space yet, like faster SSD storage, ray tracing, and more reliable performance even with upgraded visuals. Minecraft, being one of Microsoft’s biggest and most successful franchises, will work on the Xbox Series X|S from day one through the platform’s impressive backward compatibility program, even if it doesn’t immediately support all of the latest features that the Xbox Series X|S can utilize for next-gen games.

Don’t expect a “Minecraft 2” or even a specific version of Minecraft built from the ground up for Xbox Series X|S. Instead, if Minecraft does receive an update to help it take advantage of next-gen hardware, Mojang Studios will leverage the power and flexibility of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

This more modern version of Minecraft currently spans Xbox One, Windows 10, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS platforms with one code base and feature set across all of them. This is all possible due to the Bedrock foundation and the Render Dragon engine, which allows Minecraft: Bedrock Edition to dynamically conform to whatever platform you’re playing on with the same great experience and gameplay with which you’re familiar.

Xbox Series X White Version Release Date

The Xbox Series X first launched on 10 November 2020 with no white Series X in sight, unless you count the white Xbox Series S which also released on the same day.

Given that even half a year later, the Series X remains low in stock and is sold out almost everywhere, wed expect that any plans for a console variant have been put on hold as Microsoft instead focuses on just releasing more consoles.

At the very earliest, Microsoft could release a white Series X in late-2021, but in reality, we could be waiting a lot longer as Microsoft continues to grapple with the logistics and production of its next-gen console in a global pandemic.

Major Xbox Games Announced For 2021 That Have No Release Date

Every New Game Coming Out on Xbox Series X – IGN Daily Fix

2021 is well over the halfway mark, so one has to assume that most of the year’s biggest titles have already been announced. That said, there are still plenty of games that are slated for a 2021 release but have yet to specify a date. With each passing month, the odds grow that these titles will be pushed back to 2022 however, that might not be the case.

Saber Interactive’s Evil Dead: The Game looks set to be a fun celebration of the iconic horror franchise and a solid addition to the PvP market. Shadow Warrior 3, Evil West, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl are just a handful of other games that could drop by the end of the year.

Xbox Series S review

Its not unusual for console manufacturers to offer a couple of different hardware options at launch, but normally, the differences are minor. The PS3, for example, was initially available in two models. There was a version with a 60GB hard drive as well as a cheaper version with a smaller 20GB hard drive, no Wi-Fi support, and fewer ports. Meanwhile, Microsoft also originally sold a Core version of the Xbox 360 in 2005, which included compromises like including a wired rather than wireless controller and omitting a hard drive.

The differences between the Xbox Series S and Series X are more substantial and have a big impact on how games look. While Microsoft says the Series X is targeting running games at 60fps at a full 4K resolution, the Series S instead targets a lower 1440p resolution at 60fps. Its a big power disparity, similar to what we saw between the Xbox One and the Xbox One X, but this time, the two consoles were available on day one, rather than releasing years apart.

What About Xbox Series S

Codenamed Project Lockhart, the Xbox Series S, is the cheaper, digital-only alternative to the new Xbox Series X.

The lower-cost console had been rumoured for a while along with the disc-less feature, and faster CPU. Think PS4 Pro without the disc dive. Microsoft has said that Xbox Series X will be part of a family of consoles and it seems they were true to their word.

Can You Buy Xbox Series X In Store

In the US, in-store stock varies by region, but we are seeing some success with Target. Be sure to check in-store stock levels early in the morning and head down straight away if you spot consoles available. Stores are allocating what little stock they have on a first come first served basis, but it is possible to buy the new Xbox Series X in person.

If you’re in the UK, things are a little different. Obviously the current lockdown has scuppered many plans to buy Xbox Series X in store so you’re at the mercy of online retailers for now.
