Xbox Series X Price: Streaming Apps
Microsoft has confirmed which streaming apps are available on the Xbox Series X. The big news? The Apple TV app is available from day one. That puts the console on a par with Sony’s PS5.
Microsoft also confirmed that the consoles will run all streaming apps currently available for the Xbox One consoles, with a few exceptions. The BBC iPlayer app didn’t work on Xbox Series X/S at launch but Microsoft has now rectified that.

There Will Still Be Xbox Series X Stock Shortages In 2022
Although the Xbox Series X has been in stock in many major retailers recently, the number of consoles on sale has been limited. Unfortunately, it doesnt look like this will change any time soon.
In a new interview with The Wrap, transcribed by VGC, Xbox boss Phil Spencer addressed the stock Xbox Series X stock shortage.
Spencer revealed that it isnt just chips that are in short supply. There are apparently multiple pinch points in the process which will lead to consoles not being readily available for a long time.

GAMERS hoping to bag an Xbox Series X or S in time for Christmas are in luck.
UK retailer Box.co.uk still has a handful of the next-generation consoles available that will reach your doorstep in time for December 25.
Two bundles on the gaming marketplace’s website are offering free next-day delivery.
They include an Xbox Series X console with a copy of racing simulator Forza Horizon 5 and a posh gaming chair.
That bundle comes in at £674.99, though you get plenty of bang for your buck.
An Xbox Series X retails for £450, while Forza Horizon 5 retails for £50.
A Playseat Challenge cockpit chair, which is also included in the bundle, comes in at £200.
That means the Box.co.uk bundle saves you about £50 compared to buying each of the items in it individually.

Xbox Series X/s Consoles
An Xbox Series X costs £449/$499 – that includes the Xbox Series X console and the new Xbox Wireless controller. Aside from all the cables and perhaps a free trial for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, no other extras will be included. Here’s the Digital Foundry review should you want to see how the console performs.
If you want to go for an Xbox Series S instead, that’ll set you back £249/$299. Remember, though, that’s the less powerful version of the next-gen console. It’ll still comfortably run all upcoming Xbox games but it won’t run games natively at 4K, doesn’t feature a disc drive and has a smaller 512GB NVMe SSD. However, you’ll get support for 1440p at 120FPS and 4K upscaling, as well as the same raytracing and variable refresh rate features as with the Series X.
If you’re willing to sacrifice those additional features, you do save a considerable chunk of change on the console. Definitely worth it if you aren’t playing on a 4K TV or aren’t too fussed about all the extra performance benefits. A recent study suggested that so-called scalpers had made over $28 million in next-gen console profits through auction site eBay.
According to analysis conducted by data engineer Michael Driscoll, the median selling price for Xbox Series S on eBay was $469 and for the more powerful Xbox Series X it was $865, generating over $9 million in profits for resellers.

The Xbox Series X restock at Walmart and Best Buy didn’t happen as expected last week, and we know of new inventory at Best Buy warehouses. That’s good news if you’re eager to buy Xbox Series X in April. Stores in the US are stockpiling the Microsoft consoles, and we hope to see it from Walmart, Best Buy and Amazon all are now overdue for a restock.
We usually see Xbox Series X orders open up at Best Buy on Fridays at 12pm EDT / 11am CDT / 10am MDT / 9am PDT, or a few minutes after that time. We’ve seen it as late as 3:15pm EDT once, however, Best Buy completely missed this window. There’s now more hope that it’ll have an even bigger restock on Friday, April 9.
