GameStop tends to sell the Xbox Series X and S in the form of pricey bundles that include accessories like an extra controller or Game Pass. It most recently restocked the Xbox Series X and Series S in bundles in early October for PowerUp Rewards Pro members. GameStop also had the Halo Infinite-themed Xbox Series X on October 12 and October 14 .

Aim for bundles: To avoid any upset, we generally recommend aiming for a bundle that could include some games or the best Xbox Series X accessories, like the best Xbox Series X headset. This is because the standalone console tends to be the first thing to go. Make sure that you’re getting the best deal you can, but only if the system is packed in with something you actually want.
Be prepared: We recommend having your debit or credit card ready to go as you near the front of the lines, especially as it’s likely to get chaotic once you’re through those doors this goes double for those of you living in the capital cities of your respective states.
Be patient: Xbox Series X restocks are fairly common, happening usually at least once per week, so if you happen to miss out today, we would advise waiting for another trusted online retailer to have a drop rather than paying over the odds to a scalper or secondary source. Remember, an Xbox Series X costs $499, don’t pay more than you have to.

Best Buy Ps5 And Xbox Series X Restock Coming This Week

BEST Buy is mixing things up with its next console restock, opting for in-store purchases rather than online.
The retailer has been rolling out its PS5 and Xbox Series X stock online for a while now.
That has its pros and cons, with scalpers being the main issue but braving throngs of fellow humans isn’t exactly a picnic either.
TechRadar reports that Best Buy’s PS5 and Xbox Series X restock will take place this week, on Thursday, September 23.
According to sources, there should be at least 50 consoles per store.
The recommendation is to avoid hunkering down outside of your local Best Buy days in advance just show up on Thursday.
Customers waiting in line will be handed tickets between 7am and 7.30am local time from Best Buy staff.
It’s worth noting that Best Buy hasn’t actually outlined its plans yet, but this is the scoop on the situation as it stands right now.
This is the same pattern it followed for its Nvidia GPU restocks and it was just as chaotic as you might expect.
The one good thing about online orders is at least no one is about to start throwing hands.
Xbox Series X Restock News: Walmart And Best Buy

The Xbox Series X restock news has been slow recently, with the last massive restock date being at Walmart on July 1. That’s two weeks ago today, July 14. But what we noticed is that the console was far easier to buy than prior weeks and months. This is a good sign.
Here’s what we observed during the last three restock opportunities:
- Costco had a bundle with a pricey SSD in stock for an entire weekend
The same thing happened on June 24 and June 29 when there was a Best Buy Xbox Series X restock. The console just sat there for several minutes without selling out , and it was selling for MSRP. Even GameStop was willing to sell the new Xbox in stores without forcing a bundle in a one-off opportunity in June.
We noticed is that the console was far easier to buy than prior weeks and months. This is a good sign
Finally, there’s typically a Costco bundle that contains MLB The Show and an SDD that gets a little pricey, but it was available to purchase for an entire weekend. This is a much better option than resorting to a reseller, who will charge you the same price for just the console.
So while we haven’t seen the new Xbox in stock at retailers in recent days , there’s a lot of promise in the two weeks ahead, as GameStop, Best Buy and Walmart are all due to carry the Microsoft console.

Best Buy Confirms It Will Be Selling Ps5 And Xbox Series X Consoles In Stores On Thursday

US retailer Best Buy has confirmed that it will be selling PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles in stores this Thursday.
On September 23, select Best Buy stores will have limited quantities of Sonys and Microsofts consoles available.
To stand a chance of buying one, customers need to queue at participating stores, where Best Buy employees will begin distributing tickets at 7.30am local time that morning.
Customers will be asked whether they want to purchase a PS5, PS5 Digital Edition or Xbox Series X, and those who receive a ticket will be guaranteed the opportunity to buy their chosen console once the store opens.
UPDATE: Large queues have started forming outside Best Buy stores across America as the retailer prepares to sell PS5 and Xbox Series X stock on Thursday.
How To Buy An Xbox Series X At Best Buy
As with most retailers, setting up a Best Buy account ahead of time should be your first priority. You want to make sure that your payment details and address information is pre-saved, in order to shave precious time off your checkout that could be the difference between securing an Xbox Series X and being left empty-handed.
Its also important to note that Best Buy is not currently delivering Xbox consoles though the order process takes place online, you must opt for in-store pick-up. So, if you dont have a local Best Buy, or dont have the ability to get to your local store, then Best Buy may not be the Xbox retailer for you.
When a restock is taking place, refresh the product page until you see the yellow “add to cart” button or a grey “please wait” button. If you see the latter, do not refresh, but instead wait for the button to change to the yellow “add to cart” one.
Once youre able to add to cart, you might see a message telling you the Xbox Series X is no longer in stock. Should that happen, you need to change your location to one that has the system in stock. You could also open a new page and repeat the process outlined above until the “add to cart” button appears again, then go back to the original page you had open and try again to choose a location.

Theres bad news if youre looking for a next-gen console at Best Buy. The major retailer is now locking PS5 and Xbox Series X sales behind a $200 membership fee.
This extortionate cost is going to put a lot of fans off buying the next-gen systems, but it does mean that restocks are likely coming soon. We got a PS5 drop last week, and we expect that a Series X restock is soon to follow.
We prefer the days where thousands of gamers were camping outside Best Buy for a shot at the console, thats for sure.

Follow restock accounts on Twitter and turn on notifications: When it comes to buying an Xbox Series X, it’s helpful to follow Twitter accounts that tweet about restocks. You may want to turn on notifications for those accounts as well, though keep in mind some of them tweet about deals and other news as well. Wario64 is a great account to follow, as is Xbox Stock Alerts. Of course, we tweet about Xbox restocks on our GameSpot Deals account as well.
Follow a Twitch bot tracking console restocks in real time: Twitch user killercam1020 has a 24/7 stream that uses a bot to track restocks for both the Xbox Series X|S and PS5 at major retailers. The constantly moving wall of text usually shows “Out of Stock” at all stores, but when the bot detects the Series X being in stock somewhere, you’ll be one of the first to know, if you’re monitoring the stream. You can also follow Cameron Ritz, who runs the stream, on Twitter for updates.
Don’t buy from strangers on Twitter: It’s never a good idea to buy the Xbox Series X from a random on Twitter who’s offering it to you at only a slight markup. Even if the account is verified and seems legit, Twitter scams are rampant, and you don’t want to risk losing hundreds of dollars. Stick with major retailers and try to buy at list price.
