When Is Xbox E3 2021

Don't Miss

Opening To The Public

Xbox & Bethesda Games E3 2021 Showcase Livestream

featured a separate but free “E3 Live” event at the nearby space that was to help provide a small-scale version of the E3 experience. While it drew about 20,000 people, it was found to be underwhelming. In 2017, the ESA reserved 15,000 tickets to the convention for members of the public to buy these were all sold, leading to more than 68,000 attendees during , which led to noticeable crowding and floor management issues. ESA confirmed that would include public passes, but that for two of the days, the event would be open only to industry attendees for three hours prior to admitting the public.

The ESA unveiled the new logo for E3, replacing its previous one using three-dimensional block letters with a flatter, stylized graphic, in October 2017.

While the ESA has the Convention Center space reserved through 2019, ESA’s CEO Mike Gallagher said, following the 2017 event, that they were considering other options due to lack of modernization and upgrades that the Center has had to make the space more appropriate for their needs. Gallagher said that the ESA was working with the City and which owns the Los Angeles Convention Center and the space around it, with plans to have nearly 500,000 square feet of additional exhibition space added by 2020, but that they would judge this in the 2018 show. During , the event drew 69,200 attendees, the largest since 2005.

When Is The Capcom E3 2021 Press Conference Start Time

Also out of Japan, Capcom has announced it will host its own digital E3 2021 press briefing . It will be streamed live at the above E3 social links.

Officially speaking, Capcom has teased that its stream will include new information related to The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, Monster Hunter Stories 2, Monster Hunter Rise and Resident Evil Village. Considering Monster Hunter Rise and Village have already released this year, expect the DLC treatment for those. In terms of a pie-in-the-sky prediction, maybe this is the first time weâll get a tease for the highly rumored Resident Evil 4 Remake. With hype from Village still riding high, E3 seems like a good time to show fans the next big entry in the franchise.

Battlefield 2042 First Look Gameplay

After the reveal of Battlefield 2042, we now know we will be getting a first look at gameplay during this event. The below tweet confirms 2042’s presence but not exactly what we’ll be seeing.

Xbox Series X Restock: Will There Be Consoles Available On Black Friday

E3 2021

Multiple retailers are gearing up for the big shopping day.

It was only a matter of time before Xbox restock plans for Black Friday leaked, and it looks like Walmart is going first. According to this in-store advertisement shared by , Walmart is planning to hold an Xbox restock on Black Friday. If you’re a part of the Walmart Plus subscription service, you get access to the console four hours earlier than anyone else. The good news, if you don’t feel like paying for a $13 per month subscription to Walmart Plus, is you can start a 15-day free trial right now. That means you can cancel after you got your console, unless you decide it’s worth it to keep paying for early access to things from Walmart.

It’s unlikely that Walmart will be the only retailer with an Xbox restock planned, but this is the first reliable piece of info we’ve seen. As we hear more, you’ll see it updated here.

Psychonauts 2 Release Date

Concluding the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase at E3 2021 trifecta of major announcements is Psychonauts 2, a game that follows a sixteen-year-old cult classic and has steadily gained hype since its announcement in 2015. During the Xbox event at E3 2021, Psychonauts 2 finally got a definitive release date, and officially heads to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC on August 25, 2021. Like the original, Psychonauts 2 is expected to wow with clever and comical writing, unique and gorgeous platformer worlds, and more.

When Is The Microsoft

The combined Microsoft and Bethesda showcase is unquestionably one of the biggest shows of the week, and itâs set to start at 1 p.m. Eastern June 13. Itâll be streaming on the above-listed E3 social channels as well as the Xbox Twitch and Xbox YouTube channels.

Given that this is the first time Microsoft and Bethesda will host a combined press conference, gamers are expecting Xbox to arrive at E3 with lots of heavy hitters. A multiplayer and release date reveal for Halo Infinite seems like a shoo-in, as does the first gameplay reveal for Bethesdaâs highly anticipated Starfield. This might also be the first time weâll get glimpses at gameplay for Hellblade 2, the next Forza game and Fable.

While Xbox fans may want to temper their expectations in terms of announcements of release dates that are particularly imminent, this stream seems like itâll set up the dominos for Microsoft to come out swinging in 2022.

Xbox E3 : Our Expectations And Predictions

It’s that time of year once again, and the E3 season is upon us. The disruption from the pandemic led to a sporadic cavalcade of digital showcases all throughout last summer, but things are hopefully looking a bit more traditional this year. On June 13, Microsoft will kick off its E3 2021 showcase, in partnership with their new colleagues at Bethesda Softworks and their subsidiary studios.

While revealing the new show, Microsoft debuted a graphic showing off Halo Infinite, flanked by the planet shown off in the original Starfield teaser. So there are two games you can expect to see at the show right off the bat. But what about the other stuff?

Here are our best predictions, expectations, and rumor roundups of the past few months, sprinkled with a healthy dose of speculation and dreamwork.

Obviously, do NOT read this if you don’t want E3 2021 spoilers.

The Outer Worlds 2 Reveal

Obsidian Entertainment is turning out to be one of the strongest additions to the Xbox Game Studio family, and are working on a wide range of high-quality projects. Obsidian surprised fans during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase by announcing The Outer Worlds 2, the follow-up to the excellent RPG The Outer Worlds.

With Obsidian working on plenty of other games at the moment, it’s almost certain that The Outer Worlds 2 is quite a ways away from a full launch. When it does arrive, though, we’re sure it’s going to launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC at least, as well as being available on Xbox Game Pass day one. It was great seeing The Outer Worlds 2 make an appearance, and we can’t wait to see more of what Obsidian is going to deliver with their next sci-fi RPG.

Redfall A Vampire Shooter Announced From Dishonored’s Arkane Studios

Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase’s one more thing was Arkane Studios’ Redfall. This new open world co-op FPS game is an Xbox Series X/S console exclusive and the first-look showed various characters battling vampires.

Redfall will feature four heroes at launch, including Layla Ellison the telekinetic, Jacob Boyer the sharpshooter, Remi de la Rosa and her robot companion Bribon, and Devinder Crousley the paranormal investigator.

While the game will allow for up to 4-player co-op, its single-player and multiplayer options will be blended “seamlessly.”

Xbox Games: Halo Infinite And More

Halo Infinite was a big part of Microsoft’s E3 show last year. Hopefully things go better this time: the reception to last year’s reveal was so poor, Infinite was delayed a year and is now arriving this fall.

I expect a beefy Halo Infinite presentation this year, with a few minutes dedicated to showing off graphical improvements since the previous demosomeone, likely Joseph Staten, will say the words “community,” “feedback,” and “we listened” while showing off some oooh-worthy HDR lighting. I think the majority of Infinite’s screen time will actually be devoted to a first look at its multiplayer mode, which Microsoft has said will be free-to-play.

It’ll close out with a final release date announcementNovember 15, probably, because that’s the 20 year anniversary of Halo: Combat Evolved. Irresistible symmetry.

But what else is Microsoft going to show? It has so many games in development now. Our colleagues at Windows Central expect Microsoft to reveal Forza Horizon 5 is coming out this year. Psychonauts 2 is definitely coming out this year, and Tim Schafer will probably pop in to give us a surprisingly imminent release date . Sea of Thieves seems a likely candidate for a short trailer about a new update, as the game is now in its third year and still popular. If the PC gets some love, Age of Empires 4 will be front and center.

What Are The Major Announcements From Xbox And Bethesda At E3 2021

The Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase at E3 2021 was filled to the brim with announcements, trailers, and reveals. If you’re only interested in the biggest news and dropped bombs, we’ve compiled them all right here. These are the major announcements from the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase at E3 2021.

A Foundation For The Future

Xbox at E3 2021: Everything about Starfield, Halo Infinite ...

“Waiting” has become a bit of a meme in the Xbox community. It’s surely a sore point that the best Xbox games often come from third-parties, rather than Microsoft itself. With the huge, huge investment Microsoft has put into its first-party, though, that is likely to change in the coming years. Emphasis on years, though.

Microsoft has never invested more in its first party games lineup.

Making good video games takes time, and many of Microsoft’s recent acquisitions still had existing contractual obligations to wrap up before pivoting fully to Xbox exclusives, including things like the We Happy Few expansions from Compulsion, Wasteland 3 from inXile, and The Outer Worlds DLC from Obsidian. Many of Microsoft’s new studios have also opened new studios, went on massive hiring sprees, and, of course, endured huge disruptions from COVID-19 and mandated work-from-home orders. Games like Hellblade II, Fable, Perfect Dark, and others may be further out than many of us would like, but as long as Microsoft can keep appetites for information sated, I suspect many of these games will be worth the wait.
