The next major sports game launch has been locked in for this week and there’s going to be a lot of interest in playing it as soon as servers go live.
NBA 2K22 is coming out this week on PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Nintendo platforms, without any early access.
So for anyone hoping to jump in early, there will be no queue-hopping when it comes to the biggest basketball games launch this year.
Unlike in the past, everyone who buys a copy of NBA 2K22 will get access simultaneously, although future support probably wont be unified.
Most NBA 2K updates are launched depending on the platform, meaning that PS4 and Xbox One get different patches to those on next-gen.
This is usually down to the different content available, and the last platforms that get updates are usually PC and Nintendo.
The City will remain the next-gen destination for gamer, while the Neighourhood will remain the haunt of those on PS4 and Xbox One.

What Is Project Xcloud
Project xCloud is the streaming platform that originally debuted back in March. Xbox boss Phil Spencer says the service would enable you to transform an Xbox console into an xCloud server , streaming games and media to connected devices. How robust this will be against, say, the initiative remains to be seen, but Microsoft definitely looks committed to leveraging its massive infrastructure and resources towards allowing gamers to play where they want, with who they want.;
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 Trailers
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 was officially announced for Xbox Series X at the Game Awards 2019, with a peculiar and gritty reveal trailer. While the trailer didn’t give much away in terms of story and gameplay, it did confirm that this sequel looks ;much darker than its predecessor – which was already pretty dark.

Xbox Two Release Date: When Will A Next
Its believed Microsoft is targeting a 2020 release date for at least one of the multiple Xbox Two devices currently in production. If true, we should see the first teases of these new devices at next years E3 or a special Xbox event Microsoft organises in 2019.
Its slightly surprising to see more than one new console arrive on the market from Microsoft as soon as 2020 as the Xbox One X only released in 2017 so two, high-end Xbox consoles that best the Xbox One Xs abilities does seem a tad surprising within a three-year gap. Initially, Microsoft had pitched the Xbox One X as the definitive Xbox console, suggesting that going forward it would be iterated upon instead of replaced.
If a 2020 launch does go ahead and we do see multiple Xbox Two consoles come to market, it could be early enough for Microsoft to beat Sony to market and possibly solidify its place in the new generation a bit more firmly than with the Xbox One.
Signs Of Rain: The Possibility Of A Cloud
The cloud was something Microsoft talked about a lot prior to the release of Xbox One, but lately we’ve only heard about it here and there. Part of that comes from the push back on an always-online console, but this could be the secret sauce Microsoft can use to really push Scorpio to the limit.
The only news we’ve had of Microsoft’s plans for the cloud, comes from talk of Xbox-exclusive Crackdown 3, which is set to use the power of the cloud in multiplayer. They want fully destructible city environments in the game, with no compromises.
That’s just not possible with the processing power of one Xbox console. Instead, they use the cloud with some impressive results. According to Dave Jones, creative director on the game, they are using the cloud to pull some serious power in their pursuit of total destruction.
We’re hitting about nine times the power of the Xbox One here in this demo, due to the way the guys are playing. I think 13 times is our record, though. You can really raze the entire city if you want to.”
What does this mean for the price? Not much right now, but it does show how the power could be leveraged in the future. Perhaps Microsoft held back on some of the hardware with this in mind? This would bring down the cost of the system, and further reinforces our $599 price point.
What do you think? Have we underestimated? Overestimated? How much would you be prepared to pay for the Xbox Two?

Can The Xbox Project Series X Beat The Ps5
Sony is currently in such a dominant position with the PS4 that it’ll be nigh-on impossible for Microsoft to topple the PS5 with the Xbox 2. What Microsoft will want to do is ensure it is in the battle, with a repeat of its disastrous Xbox One launch being highly unlikely. The Xbox One launched at a higher price than the PS4, offered less power, and confused consumers with a set of digital game features that were ahead of their time. Today the Xbox is in a much stronger position, but still has a lot of ground to make up on the PlayStation. For Microsoft to have any chance next time around, the Xbox Series X must be the default choice for third-party games and the firm’s first-party games must start to deliver the goods, as Sony has during the PS4’s lifespan.
That’s all we can put together on the Xbox Project Series X, but we’ll be sure to update this page whenever new info or rumors come to light. E3 2019 is an obvious target for new info, but GDC in March might reveal some juicy bits of Xbox Project Series X info.

Is Starfield The First Revealed Xbox Series X Game
During the Bethesda E3 2018 conference, Todd Howardannounced Starfield, a brand-new single-player RPG. This game isn’t coming out for a while, yet, but Howard did say that it’s coming to “next-gen”. This is almost certainly in reference to the next consoles from Sony and Microsoft, so Starfield may well be the first announced Xbox Series X game. During E3 2019, Microsoft revealed that Halo Infinite will launch with Project Series X, making it the only confirmed game thus far. At The Game Awards 2019, Hellblade 2 was shown off, this will also be a next-gen Xbox game.

The console feud between Microsoft and Sony steps up a gear as NEW Xbox consoles are confirmed to be in development
- 12:06, 2 Aug 2019
THE next-generation Xbox will be here in time for Christmas 2020 – but what do we know about it?
Microsoft has code-named the new devices Project Scarlett, using its annual E3 briefing to drop the first official details.
Current rumours suggest at least two different version of the console — similar to the current All-Digital Xbox One S and X iterations.
That wasn’t explicitly confirmed by Microsoft when it revealed Scarlett, but it was hinted at.
Xbox Two Features: What Can We Expect Of Microsofts Next Xbox
On the features front, youre probably wondering what constitutes as a next-generation games console when it comes to the Xbox Two. Only last year Microsoft was telling us the Xbox One X was the most advanced and powerful device on the market, so what could come so soon after that?
At this point in time, specifications around the Xbox Two are practically non-existent. Its likely that even Microsoft doesnt know themselves if theyre currently in the stages of architecting the next Xbox console. What is clear is that it will be more powerful than the Xbox One X. Its also going to be capable of playing 4K HDR games without breaking a sweat and could possibly offer up capabilities for other higher-resolution displays as they seep out into the market over the coming years.
If youre expecting VR games to be part of the Xbox Two, its probably worth holding back on your dreams for a bit. Microsofts chief marketing officer Mike Nichols has stated that the company has no plans specific to Xbox consoles in virtual reality or mixed reality. So, no Oculus Rift, HoloLens or Windows MR headset support then.

Breaking Down The Evidence So Far
We have official confirmation of the rumored second console from Microsoft! The Xbox Series S will launch alongside the Series X in November of 2020. This alternative model is only going to cost $299 and promises much of the same features as the Series X. We don’t have a confirmation on the price of Series X, but Windows Central is reporting that it will be $499.
We will keep this page updated on any official announcements, but it seems we will have our confirmed price very soon for the Series X!
Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, sat down with IGN for an hour-long interview that you can watch below if you’re so inclined:
In this interview, several conversations came up about Xbox One X. Among them was the continued conversation of pricing. For starters, Phil discussed a pre-E3 show to talk about Scorpio , but they haven’t decided on that yet. Phil Spencer seemed almost giddy as he said “I can’t wait to show people what it looks like.”
He used the term “premium” again when describing the design of the console as well. When asked about pricing yet again, his response was this:
“I call it a premium console because I want people to be clear that the customer we’re building that for is the premium gaming customer. The person who buys the majority of the games, the person who’s playing the most games, spending the most hours, spending the most dollars. It’s like our Elite controller. I call that a premium controller.”
The Xbox 2 Release Date: Microsofts Next
The Xbox One X released in holiday of 2017, so now we begin the wait for the next generation Xbox Two. How much longer do we need to wait? Microsoft will need to let this new console breathe and test these new waters before they take the next step.
A report from Thurrott revealed insider information that Micfosoft is current planning to release Xbox 2/Project Scarlett in 2020. Our Release Date Page is the ultimate place to keep track of the ongoing news and rumors.
Whether its a look at the past, or a glimpse into the future with quotes from major industry players, well keep you up-to-date here.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade Ii
- Release date: TBC
- Exclusive? No, also on Xbox One and Windows 10
Ninja Theory’s first Senua game – Hallblade: Senua’s Sacrifice – not only wowed with its almost photorealistic graphics, but the clever, well informed grasp on mental health issues was much lauded. The sequel looks even more stunning, based on a trailer made entirely using the in-game engine. The action-adventure will be available on the current generation Xbox, but we suspect it’ll be the Series X version everyone will be talking about.
Xbox Two Price: Just How Much Will A New Xbox Set Me Back
Price points for an almost fictitious console are hard to pin down. With no concrete information around what we can expect from the Xbox Two, its hard to know how much one will cost. Going by past Xbox console releases, dont expect it to be cheap.
The original Xbox One landed at a hefty, and arguably misguided, £429 in 2013, with the Xbox One S arriving at a far more palatable £349 in 2016. The Xbox One X, however, went in all guns blazing with a nauseating £449 price point for its 2017 release because Microsoft saw it as a premium product.
With this in mind, itd be hard to imagine the Xbox Two being much less than £450 £500 on launch. However, if there are two or more Xbox Two consoles on the way, we could see one land at an appealing £300 £400 bracket and another at the £450 £550 mark.

Xbox Two News: Everything You Need To Know
Microsoft is making the Xbox Two. Its coming. Its real. And its most likely not going to be called the Xbox Two. Oh, and chances are it wont even be a single console but actually two different devices released at the same time under the Xbox brand.
Dont be, its not actually as complicated as it sounds. Instead of releasing a single console and then following it up with a powerful Xbox One X-style variant a couple of years on, Microsoft could be planning to release both devices at the same time. The logic behind such a move isnt inherently clear, but it could be to usher in a next-generation of gaming at two separate price points for consumers who simply want to play games vs those who want to get the best out of the games they play.
The news around two Xbox Two consoles first slipped out on-stage at E3 with Xbox boss Phil Spencer revealing that his team is deep into architecting the next Xbox consoles. Its only a small slip, but that plural hasnt gone unnoticed, Phil. This little gem of information was then backed up by the tried-and-trusted Microsoft insider website Thurrott, who has reason to believe that Microsofts Xbox Two consoles are in development under the codename of Scarlett. If true, its believed theyll arrive in 2020 potentially beating Sonys estimated 2021 PlayStation 5 launch window.
