When Was Fortnite Made Creation And Initial Release Dates
Fortnite first released in July of 2017. Forged by the legendary crew at Epic Games, it was first conceived during an internal game jam sometime around 2011. Its creative inspiration, according to a 2014 report from Game Informer, involved the creation of a game that blended elements of shooting games with those of construction-based games like Minecraft.
Through the years, Fortnite would undergo several key developmental changes, and in July 2017, it was released as a paid early access title on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Though paying players were given access to Founder’s Packs, it wasn’t too long before the game went fully free-to-play, complete with all the trappings of games-as-service titles, including the availability of paid skins and other cosmetic items.
There’s one noteworthy period of Fortnite’s evolution that occurred around the time of its original release: PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds had begun quickly picking up steam, and Epic Games saw the opportunity to put the popular “battle royale” gameplay mode into Fortnite. Soon, Epic would distinguish between the two gameplay modes by titling the default Fortnite gameplay mode as Save the World, whereas what most players now call Fortnite was then known as Fortnite Battle Royale.

Xbox Series S Price: Cheaper Digital Edition
Rumours circled for months that Microsoft was working on a cheaper Xbox to launch alongside the Series X. Sure enough, the Xbox Series S is a digital-only version of its next-gen console in order to lower the barrier to entry.
It costs £249.99 . That’s just over half the price of the full-fat Xbox Series X and could be a very tempting price for UK gamers.
Gamers in 12 countries, including the US, UK and Australia, also have the option to buy the Series S and pay in instalments. Microsoft’s Xbox All Access service gets you Series S console plus Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold in return for £20.99 per month over a 24 month period.
The main difference between the Xbox Series X and Series S is that the latter doesn’t have a disc drive. Another big difference is that while both consoles support high frame rates of up to 120fps, the Xbox Series X offers native 4K gaming, while the Series S is geared more towards 1440p. If you want to make the most of your 4K TV, the Series X would be the obvious choice, but those with gaming monitors might be perfectly well served by the Series S.
The Series S isn’t as powerful, though. Both consoles have the same Zen 2-based CPU but the Xbox Series X runs at 3.8Hz, while the Series S runs at 3.4Hz. And where the Xbox Series S has 10GB of GDDR6 memory running at 224Gbps, the Series X offers 16GB of GDDR6.

Gta Release Dates: When Did Every Game Come Out
The GTA franchise might not be the oldest game franchise in the history of gaming such as Mario, Legend of Zelda, or Doom. However, it has had the most impact on pop culture and media than any other franchise.
The original GTA game, just titled ‘Grand Theft Auto’ was born as a result of malfunctioning game code. The game was originally meant to be standard ‘cops & robbers’ style game, where the objective was to evade the police.
A bug in the game code resulted in the cops becoming extremely aggressive and ram into the player. This paved way for the original Grand Theft Auto, released in 1997, marking the beginning of the GTA franchise.
What began as a rudimentary top-down action racing game evolved into the open-world action/adventure franchise that it is today. The GTA franchise has been relevant ever since the release of the first game.

And thats where we get our answer on When Did The Original Xbox Come Out which is November 15, 2001.

Ten Years Of Xbox: A Brief History
Console brand hits the decade mark
The gaming world was a very different place back in 2001 the home console market was dominated by the mighty PlayStation 2, Nintendo was launching the GameCube and the Dreamcast was proving to be a lead weight for Sega.
But it was November of that year that will be listed in the annals of gaming as a month that redefined consoles for a decade to come bringing the launch of Microsoft’s Xbox.
When Microsoft launched its Xbox on 15 November 2001, it was far from a guaranteed success the software giant did have some gaming experience through the PC, but despite some impressive hardware, few believed that the console could truly compete with a brand like PlayStation.
However, Microsoft had a few tricks up its sleeve that would convert an idea they had first publicly touted back in 1999 into one its best known products.
The first was the acquisition of games developers Bungie, securing a launch title called Halo: Combat Evolved a game that would become synonymous with the Xbox.
The second was the arrival, a year on from Xbox, of Xbox Live a service that took the increasingly popular world of online gaming that had been flourishing on PC, and brought it to the US console.
A collaboration with Sega on the Dreamcast was already looking ignominious and the decision to try to crack the traditionally Western-averse Japanese market was widely derided as it came at the expense of a speedy European launch.
An Xbox Console Retrospective
Before the original Xbox was released in 2001, many doubted Microsoft’s chances to compete in the video game console business. Up until that point, the company had been primarily a PC software vendor, and there hadn’t been room for four major consoles. It also had to compete against the PlayStation 2 and GameCube at the time. Despite the initial stiff competition and several pitfalls along the way, the Xbox brand has made significant strides over the past 15 years to become a household name in the hardware world and a significant pillar of Microsoft’s business. It has since sold well over 100 million consoles.
Let’s take a walk down memory lane as we chronologically look back at all of Microsoft’s consoles, hardware redesigns, and major peripherals.
Xbox Series X And Series S Controller
The fourth generation Xbox Controller doesn’t change much from the Xbox One controller, but the new wireless Xbox Controller does add a capture and share button, a hybrid d-pad, and better gripping on the bumpers and triggers. The controller is also promised to be cross compatible with certain PC’s and mobile devices.

The Xbox 360 came out in November 2005 and like the release of the original Xbox, Microsoft celebrated the consoles launch with a special launch team edition. This time, however, Microsoft actually gifted the Xbox 360 Launch Team Edition console to its team members. For the most part, the console looked like a standard white Xbox 360, but it featured a green hard drive and green base The HDD plate was also engraved with the team members personal gamertag. The Xbox 360 Launch Team Edition console also came with a special matching white and green controller.
Xbox Series X Hardware And Design
The Xbox Series X casts a commanding silhouette. It’s a monolithic slab of matte black plastic that stands 11.8 inches tall, 5.9 inches deep, 5.9 inches wide, and weighs in at 9.8 pounds. On its face, you’ll find a pairing button that handily conceals an IR receiver, a 4K UHD Blu-ray optical drive, a USB 3.1 Gen 1 port, and an Xbox logo power button that lightly glows white while you play.
While the Xbox One was built to fade into the background of your home entertainment centre, the Xbox Series X is designed to quietly dominate it. If you can find a suitable place to stand it , it’ll soon feel like another fixture not unlike that of a PC tower. The Series X doesn’t draw attention to itself, like the provocatively designed PS5 an angular mass complete with pulsing strips of blue lighting that seems purpose-built to attract the eye.
Even with all of these system-intensive features in play, I have been pleasantly surprised to find that the console runs quietly and efficiently, even after lengthy sessions with games optimised for Xbox Series X. The console also runs considerably cooler than the Xbox One X, although there is clearly some expectation that owners will think carefully about where they place the Xbox Series X so that air is able to flow unimpeded from behind the console and up through the curved venting array that sits at the north end of the console.

Will We Have Consoles In 2041
What about 2041 then, will we have new Xbox consoles in the shops in another 20 years time? “You know, when you think of 20 years in the future, you get into questions of are we going to even have televisions?” Phil says.
“Most video content now is consumed on a phone across the planet.
“I think you’ll see a diversity of devices that people will play video games on.
“The number of screens that I can watch my videos and TV shows on has gone up, and I think gaming will go that same way.”

Pc Perks In The Living Room
While Microsoft makes you pay to unlock some features, it does include some PC-like ones that can’t be found in competing systems. First, there’s a built-in Ethernet adapter for broadband multiplayer gaming, regardless of whether you’re using a cable modem, DSL or an office LAN. For an extra $50, you can buy Microsoft’s Xbox Live Starter Kit, which allows you to play games online free for a year. Several, but not all, titles are Xbox Live-enabled.
Back then, not everyone had broadband. You might have had to go to your office to use broadband. So it was one of those things where Microsoft was really thinking of the future. Yes, there were online game services before, Compuserve or nonsense like that, and the Dreamcast had a 56k modem. At first Xbox Live was free — it was like Microsoft was saying, “Your first taste is free. Just try it out and see what you think.” And then it started adding features and eventually said, if you want to play multiplayer, this is what you need. And by that point, the company justified it by making it a more robust experience. It realized the future is in owning the network that supports everything.
