One person wears the VR headset, while a number of other people sit – in the real world – and look at a booklet of bomb-defusal documents.
The person inside the VR headset sees a briefcase with a bomb in it, and various devices to disarm, which he/she describes to the people in the real world. The idea is to use the bomb disposal docs to defuse the device by… actually talking to each other and cooperating. It’s all set to a time limit to add tension, and bombs get increasingly tricky to dismantle as you play. It’s brilliant fun, and a perfect party game.
Plus, it’s now on Switch, so one of you will have the console in your hands, the other the instruction manual. It’s a great piece of teamwork, and a word of warning, may ruin families.

There’s a very simple reason for this: There are two different versions of Battlefield 2042. The version of the game built for PC and current-generation consoles features far larger maps than the last-generation version. Battlefield 2042 also supports up to 128 players on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS5, and PC, while the Xbox One and PS4 version is capped at 64 players. As a result, it’s simply not possibly to match up players across generations in-game.

There are a few major players leading the charge here. Microsofts Play Anywhere initiative means that many Xbox titles, once bought, can also be played on PC. Given Microsoft develops both the Xbox platform and the Windows operating system, this seems pretty straightforward and enables cross-play on some Play Anywhere games.
Were seeing growth of cross-play in AAA games between Xbox and PlayStation and despite the latter lagging behind on this front, progress is being made.
But there is a development cost to including cross-play hence why you don’t see it across the board. If the code for a game isn’t written to allow play of this kind, it’s not that simple to introduce retrospectively either.

Shawn Layden, the departing chairman of PlayStation Worldwide Studios, was also widely quoted for saying that “enabling cross-play isn’t just about flipping a switch and ‘there you go’. It’s a very multi-dimensional kind of attribute or feature” .
Even as it becomes more technically possible, platform manufacturers can also be hesitant cough, Sony, cough to open up cross-platform play, given they want players to be on their platform and not any others.

Ahead of its official Dec. 8 release, the developer has revealed that the multiplayer mode for Halo Infinite is out right now. The multiplayer mode is available for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S as a playable beta, allowing fans to jump into the game before its full release.
This playable beta will focus on the first season of content for the multiplayer mode, allowing players to customize and rank up their Spartans while fighting across a variety of maps. Furthermore, all progress earned in multiplayer will carry over into the full release of Halo Infinite on Dec. 8, which will see the launch of the campaign story mode for the game.

Using Realms For Multiplayer
Players can also join Realms, which are servers that stay online all the time and dont require a host to be currently playing.
You can send invites to your Realm via your Friends tab or invite via a link if youre playing on a PC. Clicking the link will launch the Minecraft app. Console players will need to be invited via friends list.
