While Microsoft seems hesitant to acknowledge the difference in power itself, reputable tech breakdown site Digital Foundry found that some games with unlocked frame rates performed 7-11% better on the Xbox One S than on the original system. To some, the difference between 40 and 46 frames per second is a noticeable one. Others might not care as much.
What everyone can appreciate, however, is that the Xbox One S is the first console to support 4K playback. It has a 4K Blu-ray player built-in for high-density media playback, supports Netflix in Ultra HD and upscales games to 3,840 x 2,160.
Starting this fall the Xbox One S will also play some games in High Dynamic Range , essentially offering better contrast, color and brightness in some of your favorite games. At its keynote during E3 2016, Microsoft said that both Gears of War 4 and Forza Horizon 3 will play in the expanded color gamut technology with more first-party titles to follow next year.

When it comes to console gaming, this is a huge leap forward. Thats because theXbox One X could only hit 4K/60fps, meaning the ceiling is far higher for this console generation.
Not only does HDMI 2.1 allow for much better frame rates, but it also means you can transfer 4K and even 8K image qualities from your games console to a compatible TV. However, one caveat to this is that 8K gameplay will be limited to 60fps but you likely won’t be playing any 8K games for a while.

Xbox Cloud Gaming Comes To Xbox Series X
Microsoft has expanded the availability of Xbox Cloud Gaming to the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles.
Today you can play Game Pass games from the cloud on your Xbox console, Microsoft vice president Catherine Gluckstein writes in the announcement post. Were excited that Xbox Cloud Gaming is now available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles with a Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
This is exciting for all the obvious reasons, but its also a way for those with Xbox One consoles to play some games that were made or optimized for newer consoles too. For example, Xbox Series X|S-specific titles like Recompile, The Medium, and The Riftbreaker are now playable on Xbox One with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. And more games, including Microsoft Flight Simulator, are on the way in early 2022.
Xbox Cloud Gaming is available on these consoles in 25 countries, with Brazil coming soon. And it is perhaps interesting that Microsoft has explicitly revealed that it is on a journey to bring Xbox Cloud Gaming to more than a billion devices. That worked out well last time.

The Xbox One X is an absolute marvel with respect to the technological and engineering sides of this innovation.
