Choose Your Spawns Wisely

Once commencing a game youll be presented with an option of three spawn points in your own territory. These will always be there, however, it is up to the officers in order to construct outposts and garrisons further afield to enable fallen soldiers to respawn further up the battlefield once their respawn timer depletes after death. If these extra spawn points are not built then the result is painstakingly frustrating as you have to run all the way from the original spawn points to where the action is taking place and some of these maps are true to scale and all enormous in size. From experience, I can inform you that running for three to four minutes to then receive a bullet right between the eyes only to do it all again is rage-inducing.

What Is Hell Let Loose Cross

Basically, Hell Let Loose is an online multiplayer shooting simulation game. Chiefly the complete version of the game has been launched in the year 2021. Eventually, this game has been developed by Black Matter and been published by Team17. Actually, this game was announced via a Kickstarter campaign in the year 2017.

This game was initially released for Microsoft Windows in 2019 and the complete game version has been released for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The plot has been set on a battlefield. Furthermore, the game depicts the realistic World War II fight. Two first-person shooters battling for a period of 100 years with infantry, tanks, and artillery.

With a dynamically shifting front line, Hell Let Loose is a resource-based strategic-meta game. It is a battle of 50 VS 50 army men belonging to America and Germany. At the initial release of the game, it had two game modes, Warfare and Offensive. Identically, in both the modes, the maps differ and the main objective for both the team is to capture and control the opponent.

Communication plays a major role in this game. Each team is lead by a single commander who has the ability to communicate with the other officers. Certainly, the commander will be in charge of controlling every department until the war ends.

Is Hell Let Loose Cross

No. Even though it is hard to accept, we have to go by the reality. At this point, Hell Let Loose Cross-Platform is available for cross-play. This means players cant play against different platforms. This is because the cross-play feature has not been enabled by the developer of this game.

As we have seen the official version of this game is available for the latest gen consoles like Xbox Series X/S, Playstation 5, and Microsoft Windows PC. Even though we have the compatible game version, it is not possible to have gameplay across cross-platforms.

For example, PC players can play against other PC players but they cant play against console players. In the same way, Console players cant connect or play against PC players. This is because of the differences in the game versions on both consoles.

Each version will be optimized for those respective consoles environment. Additionally, the game is also made available on Steam also. So, Steam users can make use of the opportunity to have cross-play with other Steam users.

As far as now, there is no update from the developer side regarding the cross-play support. Lets hope to get the support for the desired service in the future. For more details about Hell Let Loose Cross-Platform, compatible devices continue reading the following content.

Take part in some of the most iconic battles of the Western Front, including Purple Heart Lane, Omaha Beach, Foy, and many more. This is strategic combat on a whole new scale Hell Let Loose features two teams of 50 made up with the combined arms of infantry, tanks, and artillery, and a dynamically shifting front line where individual players are key cogs in the machine of colossal warfare.

Will There Be Crossplay

There will be crossplay — but only between console editions of the game i.e Xbox X/S and PlayStation 5 players.

This will mean that the console versions server population stays high, while also safeguarding the PC version and the inherent control advantages the latter has and the potential for very different audiences to be catered for.

How To Enable & Disable Crossplay On Hell Let Loose

When you boot up Hell Let Loose for the first time, the game will ask you whether you want to enable crossplay. From this screen, you can accept or decline Hell Let Loose cross-platform play.

You can always change your mind later from the menus. Heres where to look:

  • Launch Hell Let Loose
  • From the menu, press Square or X to open up Preferences
  • Hover over Crossplay Enabled and set it to either Yes or No
  • We would recommend leaving crossplay on, though. It will improve matchmaking time, and theres an even playing field across consoles, so you likely dont need to worry about cheaters or too many mouse and keyboard players dominating.

    Apex Legends Reload/revive Controller Issue

Reddit user sonhalo brought the issue to light in a recent post with the caption: Its S11. Im tired of not being able to clutch up because controller forces a revive or finisher when Im simply trying to reload.

The problem is that controller players have multiple actions mapped to a single button. In certain situations, players will revive or finish an opponent while attempting to reload.

Ultimately, the interact button takes priority over reloading when in these situations. The video attached to the post highlights why this is an issue. The user states that this issue prevents them from being able to clutch up. When they attempt to reload they are instead forced to interact with their downed teammate.

This can happen in multiple situations like when players are standing near a door, near a downed teammate or enemy. One comment pointed out this happens even when you are playing a Legend with traps such as Caustic. Same with caustic gas traps, Im trying to reload and I pick up the trap I just set.

How Will The Games Differ On Console Compared To Pc

A harder question to answer and one which we won’t really be able to until we get closer to release.

What we do know is that the console version is being developed by another studio, Flix Interactive, the team behind Sea of Thieves’ console versions.

The team working on Hell Let Loose’s console version have also worked on Rare’s Sea of Thieves.

Black Matter promises that the game will be a “hardcore realistic FPS”, and the only one available on consoles at that. So the stated intention is that the game will be near 1:1 the same on both platforms.

But does that mean the PC version will be ‘dumbed down’ or that for the first time in basically forever consoles will have a game like Hell Let Loose. It’s yet to be seen and fans of the game on PC are concerned with many already feeling that the PC version has made concessions in recent months, primarily with the amount of semi and full-auto weaponry available, to cater to a more casual market.

“For those of you who are console players and interested in jumping into a realistic game on next-generation platforms, please be assured that we wont be altering the Hell Let Loose recipe of time-to-kill, minimal HUD and all the other aspects that define the game,” stated Black Matter in their announcement. Let’s hope they stick to their word.

Hell Let Lose Game And Developers

The game was developed by Black Matter Studios. It was initially a crowdfunded project on the famous crowdfunding platform Kickstarter where it generated a huge amount. After that, an initial release was made for the PC in 2019.

The game fully released in July of 2021 and is planned to be ported on the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S later this year. Hell Let Loose kept receiving updates through its initial phases and even now after its full title release.

The gameplay is smooth and even if there are notable issues, the team seems to be taking it very seriously. As of now the devs have revamped maps, fixed graphical issues, improved sound designs, and released bug fixes.

So in short, new patches and bug fixes are often released to ensure the players can continue enjoying an immersive experience.

    Apex Dev Responds To Issue

This provoked a reply from Apex Legends developer RobotHavGunz, and it seems like an issue they are definitely willing to look into, but may be more complicated than it seems:

The revive problem one is simpler than the door problem there are definitely times when you want to prioritize shutting a door but there are just complexities when you have limited inputs.

The dev feels as if reload should take always take priority if the magazine isnt full, but it isnt as simple as one developer wanting a change.

Well have to see what happens in the future, but it would definitely make a lot of people happy if Respawn were to bring some sort of option to change the priority of the interact button in these situations, much like Warzones Contextual Tap feature.
