Is Kurosawa Mode Better
We’ve tried both normal and Kurosawa Mode extensively, and while no specific gameplay elements are changed, Kurosawa Mode can be a little bit tricker, as the grainy effect and loss of color can make certain items or icons harder to notice, especially those marked by color distinction or certain kinds of light. It also makes it a little less obvious when you’re at low health or resolve, as these icons don’t stand out as much.
However, it can sometimes be worth it purely for how cool it can be. The problems are much less impactful in combat than they are in stealth, as combat is marked by drastic, obvious motions and stealth is about noticing small details. Not to mention that everybody should try at least one sword fight that looks well, like a Kurosawa movie, even if you put it back to normal straight afterwards.

What’s The Ghost Of Tsushima On Pc Rumour
Ghost of Tsushimas box has been updated to remove only on PlayStation, as Days Gone and Horizon did previously, sparking PC port speculation.
As first reported by VGC, Ghost of Tsushima is currently on sale at PlayStation Direct and . Both sites have conveniently lost the game’s “Only on PlayStation” branding that is typically associated with Sony exclusives. Eagle-eyed gamers were quick to jump onto the bandwagon that this means Ghost is coming to PC.
It’s important to remember that Sony previously took down its Only on PlayStation branding for Days Gone and Horizon Zero Dawn. Shortly after, both made their way onto PC as AAA titles to lose their PlayStation 4 exclusivity.
Elsewhere, critics have pointed out that Sony seems to be phasing out its “Only on PlayStation” branding. Demon‘s Souls and the recent release of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart are missing the label, suggesting you can’t always trust the box art. The site noted that The Last of Us and Uncharted 4 still keep their original box art, so we’re not really sure what’s going on. Still, it looks like Jin Sakai is up to something.
Ps5 Supports Backwards Compatibility
We believe that the game will be playable on the PS5 thanks to the console being backwards compatible. Aside from this, the game comes out near the PS5’s release, meaning that it has a very high chance of being supported on the console.
Possibly Playable Via Backwards Compatibility on PS5
PS5 was announced to support backwards compatibility for PS4 titles upon release, even if it does not get PS5 specific release, it will most likely be able to be played on PS5 with this feature.

Infamous And Acquisition By Sony
The success of the franchise elevated Sucker Punch’s stature as a development studio, though the studio wanted to work on something new in order to stay relevant. Their next project, , had a development team of 60 people. Though the team could have opted to request the necessary funds from Sony to increase the team size and finish the game in two years, Fleming noted that Sucker Punch, which always only had one team with a very focused goal, worked better with a smaller team size. It was initially pitched as a superhero game with gameplay that resembled , though this idea was scrapped six months later, and the game pivoted to become a superhero origin story inspired by such as and . It was also the studio’s first game. Development for the game lasted for three and a half years. It received generally positive reviews and was a modest commercial success when it launched in May 2009 for the PlayStation 3.

Played ghost of Tsushima for the first time on Ps5
In the other corner, there’s the long-held idea that Ghost of Tsushima will be getting a PS5 port. Interestingly, Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Sackboy: A Big Adventure are on Sony’s next-gen console and are also missing their exclusivity branding. Instead of Ghost on PC, is it a further nod toward a PS5 revamp?
Either way, there’s a big argument for why now is the right time to bring Sony exclusives to PC. If sitting out this year’s E3 wasn’t bad enough for the Sony brand, rivals Microsoft eclipsed most showcases with its jam-packed presentation alongside Bethesda. Microsoft’s E3 bonanza was so impressive, some have declared Sony dead in the water. One way to ensure the future of the company would be to port some of its biggest exclusives to PC.
In a recent PlayStation blog update, Herman Hulst, Sony’s head of PlayStation Studios, said the company is “still early on in our planning for PC” and that it will “continue to look at the right time”. Considering Microsoft is getting so much attention, that time is definitely now.
Both Days Gone and Horizon Zero Dawn have sold well on PC, so we know the formula works. Whether Ghost of Tsushima will round off the trio in style remains to be seen. If it does, expect it to slice up the competition like a plate of fresh sashimi.

Ghost Of Tsushima: Iki Island Fights Its Way To Win Best Game Expansion At The Golden Joystick Awards 2021
Ghost of Tsushima: Iki Island has won the Best Game Expansion trophy at the Golden Joystick Awards 2021.
There have been some amazing expansions to current releases this year, but Ghost of Tsushima has fought its way to the top. And not just because of its adorable new cats. It beat out the likes of The Sims 4: Cottage Living and Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Episode Intermission to emerge victorious, just as Jin should.
You can see the full list of nominees below:
- Ghost of Tsushima: Iki Island
- Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Episode Intermission
- The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos
- Sims 4: Cottage Living
- Super Mario: Bowser’s Fury
- DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2
The Iki Island expansion arrived alongside the Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PS5 and PS4 for the complete experience, which also added PS5-exclusive features like Japanese lip-sync, real-time rendered cinematics, support for haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, improved load times, 4K resolution and targeted 60fps framerates.
Iki Island itself delivered a brand new adventure for Jin, on an island set away from the main shores of Tsushima. With a foreboding foe, increased Mongol presence, and some past traumas to resolve, Iki Island is quite the story for our new favourite hero Jin Sakai.
You can play Ghost of Tsushima: Iki Island now on PS4 and PS5.
Is Ghost Of Tsushima Coming To Pc
Yes, Ghost of Tsushima will be making its way to PC. How do we know that? The same way we found out Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone were going to be coming to PC: The PlayStation only label was removed from the boxart on Amazon. Yes, it is that simple. In case you are doubtful and are ready to scream ‘clickbait’: Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone are both on PC and, really, this is no surprise as we knew from the start that a lot of PlayStation exclusives are PC-bound. Also, PlayStation Direct now features the new Ghost of Tsushima boxart without the ‘Only on PlayStation’ banner. So yes… this is happening.
If you missed when Sony stated its intentions on bringing more PlayStation exclusives to the PC, here’s what Sony had to say on this a while back:
Particularly from the latter half of the PS4 cycle our studios made some wonderful, great games. Theres an opportunity to expose those great games to a wider audience and recognise the economics of game development, which are not always straightforward.
If you haven’t played Ghost of Tsushima yet, rejoice, the game is just… chef’s kiss. Think Breath of the Wild in grown-up meets a little Red Dead Redemption, and it’s all set to the tunes of Feudal Japan. Seriously, this is a gamer’s game. Don’t miss out.

Why Is Sony Porting Ghost Of Tsushima To Pc
Sony has released a statement a while back that bringing games to PC is highly lucrative for them. Plus, with the shortage of consoles these days, limiting a game to one system is not necessarily profitable anymore. Especially not when considering that Game Pass is available everywhere, for very low costs. Sony is simply playing their market, and trying to reach as many players as possible with their games.
New Box Art Leads To Ghost Of Tsushima Pc Port Speculation
Eagle-eyed fans have noticed that the newest version of the games box art, seen on Sonys official PlayStation Direct store, no longer includes the phrase only on PlayStation. This alteration has led some to believe that the old boxs statement will soon be incorrect because, you guessed it, a PC version will soon be announced.
The exact same thing happened before PC versions of Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone were announced. So while hardly official, this development does suggest a Ghost of Tsushima PC port could well be in the works.

Will Ghost Of Tsushima Be Ported To Pc Or Xbox One
Lets deal with the Xbox One first. The simple answer is no, Ghost of Tsushima wont be coming to Microsofts home console. Its a PS4 exclusive, which means that you wont have the chance to buy it for Xbox One. It would be extraordinary for the Sony Interactive Entertainment-published game to be ported to Microsofts platform. That would be like Halo being available on PS4.
As for PC, it wont be available here either. However, that doesnt mean that Ghost of Tsushima wont ever see the light of day on this platform.

Why Is Ghost Of Tsushima So Popular
To put it in simple terms: Ghost of Tsushima is the mature version of Breath of the Wild. If you consider how popular Breath of the Wild was, then the success of Ghost of Tsushima is no surprise. That, coupled with the fact that Ghost of Tsushima is the first real open-world Samurai game of AAA-value, and it really is a no-brainer that the game would be this popular. Plus, developer Insomniac already delivered top-tier quality with Infamous, and, at this point, it seems they can go no wrong. Rumor has it that their next outing will be a revival of Sly Cooper Sly 5.

Ps4 And Ps5 Losing New Exclusive Game To Xbox Next Month
PS4 and PS5 are losing a new exclusive game to Xbox consoles next month. Between Demon’s Souls, The Last of Us Part 2, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Bloodborne, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Zero Dawn, Persona 5, and more, the PS4 and PS5 have a ton of exclusives and console exclusives of the highest quality. However, sometime next month, it will lose one of these exclusive games, though the game shedding its exclusivity is nowhere near as notable as the aforementioned titles.
Sometime next month, an enhanced edition of Oddworld: Soulstorm, appropriately titled Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition, will release on PS4, PS5, and PC. This isn’t that notable because the base game has been available on these platforms since April. In fact, the game was notably free for PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS5 in April. However, next month will be the first time the game is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X.
The digital version of the enhanced edition will cost $39.99, the same price point as the base game. However, if you want to cop a retail copy or the Collector’s Edition, you will need to fork over $49.99 and $149.99, respectively.

Will Ghost Of Tsushima Get An Xbox One And Pc Release
Unfortunately, there are currently no plans to release Ghost of Tsushima on Xbox One or PC. The game was announced as a PlayStation 4 exclusive and will remain that way for a foreseeable future. However, while it likely wont ever come to Xbox, its not unheard of for a PS4 exclusive to come to PC a year or so after launch. Two good examples of this would be the recent release of Death Stranding and Horizon Zero Dawn on PC.
However, due to the rivalry between Xbox and PlayStation, it seems highly unlikely that Sony would ever allow the game to be released on an Xbox console. I suppose anything is possible, but I certainly wouldnt hold your breath or count on it. While this can be frustrating at times, at the end of the day, Sony and Microsoft are running a business and have to make wise business decisions.
