This is something the Fall Guys developers on working on. In that same interview with The Loadout, Walsh said his team has heard the desire for that.
“Its still early days, but its something we hear a desire for,” Walsh said. “Fall Guys is ultimately a TV show and people want to be the director, they want to run their own show. We totally hear the demand for that, but itll take us a little while to figure out what that looks like exactly. But its on our list of things to do.”

While yes, its true that Fall Guys being free on PS Plus still would have been a better deal than say, being $20 on Xbox at launch this month, it stands to reason that one of the stipulations for snagging one of the hugely coveted PS Plus game features was that no, the game could not appear on Xbox. Maybe just for this first month, maybe for longer, its hard to tell. Though yes, Fall Guys was announced as a console exclusive for PS4 way back when. Those deals are usually timed.
The Fall Guys team just how important the PS Plus feature was to them, and why they pursued it so hard:

The Rocket League comparison is dead on, as entire gaming empires like that series have been formed out of a PS Plus feature, and thats what Fall Guys was trying to do with their own feature. And they have clearly succeeded. So yes, even if it was part of the deal that the game couldnt appear on Xbox One during the PS Plus feature it was almost certainly worth that cost with how much the game has blown up. Partly because of Twitch and every streamer youve ever heard of playing it, partly because of the PS Plus showcase.
Is Fall Guys Cross
The answer to this question is a little bit complicated. The answer is both “yes” and “no.” Fall Guys does not allow you to play across all devices. However, it is possible to play across different platforms that are either PS4 and PC, IOS and Android. But, the game is not cross-platform between different consoles such as PS, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch.
There are many reasons due to which Fall Guys is not cross-platform for all the platforms. The main reason being that the game has to be designed differently for each platform, and they can’t just share one design due to them having different features.
The other reason is that there are simply too many players on the platform to make it feasible. As you can’t host a game with 60 people, being able to cross-platform would result in an unmanageable number of people who could show up at any given moment and join your match.
Also, there is a huge difference in the performance of Xboxes versus PC. The CPU of an Xbox is not as powerful, and the graphics are lower in terms of quality. This means that it would be a bad idea to cross-platform these two devices because playing on a console will result in subpar performance due to its hardware limitations.

When Are The Fall Guys Xbox One And Nintendo Switch Release Dates
Fall Guys releases for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X in Summer 2021.
During the February 17 Nintendo Direct, Mediatonic and Devolver Digital confirmed that Fall Guys will come to Nintendo Switch in Summer 2021. Check out the trailer revealing this port below:
The next day, on February 18, 2021, Mediatonic took to Xbox Wire to confirm that the game will also come to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S in Summer 2021.
While these ports weren’t announced until February 2021, the developers have made their plans very clear since the game’s launch. A page on the game’s support site directly referencing console ports states “to start with, Fall Guys will only be available on PS4 and Steam.” It goes on to mention that the team would “love to bring the game to other platforms further down the line,” but it did not give any release window.
When Fall Guys was announced at E3 2019, PC and PS4 were the only two platforms referenced in official press releases and trailers for the game. It appears that Mediatonic and Devolver Digital were focusing on getting out of the door on those two platforms first, and their efforts have clearly paid off.
On August 10, the developers confirmed in a press release that over 2 million players had bought Fall Guys on PC, and over 23 million hours of the game was watched on Twitch. This isn’t even accounting for how many of the millions PS Plus owners downloaded the game on PS4 because it is free during the month of August.

Fall Guys is essentially Mario Party mixed with the television show “Wipeout.” You start a game with 60 players and continue to play rounds while people get eliminated from challenges. There are several game modes, including team games, and it all comes together in one final showdown where a champion is crowned.

A Halo-related skins leak for Fall Guys seems to suggest Mediatonic’s inventive battle royale could launch on Xbox sooner rather than later.
A Fall Guys leaker stumbled across code pointing to the eventual arrival of Halo skins for the likes of Master Chief this also seems to indicate the long-awaited Xbox release isn’t too far off. Mediatonic, the developers of Fall Guys, never expected their game to become this popular in such a short span of time. When Is The Fall Guys Xbox Release Date
Initially, Mediatonic had intended to release Fall Guys on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S at some point in the summer of 2021. However, an official Mediatonic blog post in April revealed that things have changed behind the scenes, meaning that summer 2021 is no longer the goal.
The developers said in the blog, With so many new opportunities now in our hands, weve realised that our previously announced Summer 2021 Switch and Xbox release schedule is unfortunately just too soon for us to include all of the tasty new features were working on.
Microsofts official Xbox Wire blog still says that Fall Guys will be coming to Xbox consoles later this year, so heres hoping well see it launch on Microsofts range of consoles in the autumn or winter. Well be sure to let you know when an exact date is announced.

Fall Guys publisher, Devolver Digital, has stated it has “no plans” to bring Fall Guys to “any form” of Xbox Game Pass. While it doesn’t rule out Fall Guys inclusion at a later date, it suggests there’s no imminent announcement surrounding the service to come.
There are no plans for Fall Guys to come to any form of Gamepass.

Fall Guys is still on the pathway to coming to your nearest Xbox console, however, there was confirmation of delays from the developers, who originally supplied the game with a Summer 2021 release date.
Confirming the delays on the official Fall Guys website blog, Mediatonic wrote: “We’ve realised that our previously announced Summer 2021 Switch and Xbox release schedule is unfortunately just too soon for us to include all of the tasty new features we’re working on.”
They continued, “while we want to launch on these platforms as quickly as possible, we believe the Switch and Xbox releases are really going to be worth waiting for, and were super grateful for your patience.”
The developers did however confirm that because of the delayed time, it has now given them the opportunity to add a lot more features to the game in time for its arrival on a new console.

A Fall Guys Xbox One Port Depends On Fan Demand
Apparently, many inquisitive minds have asked Fall Guys‘ developers whether the game will make it to the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. So, instead of individually answering every Reddit post or email begging for an answer, the devs created an official support page. Unfortunately, the entry doesn’t have good news, but it isn’t all bad news, either.
The page starts off by stating point blank that Fall Guys will initially “only be available on PS4 and Steam,” key word “only” . However, the rest should fill Xbox One and Switch owners with hope. The devs direct readers to the official Fall GuysDiscord and pages so they can voice their concerns and demands, specifically the demand for an Xbox One or Switch port.
While the entry doesn’t promise an Xbox One port of Fall Guys, it implies the folks at Mediatonic will work on one if enough people ask for it. So, if you really want an Xbox One version, you better start calling for it in droves.
