Second Next Gen Upgrade Steps

The developers have stated that the second upgrade will be a “true” upgrade when the game is officially released for the Xbox Series X sometime in 2021.

As of now, the details for what is in this eventual patch are unclear, as is the date and the steps players will need to take.

CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the update will take full advantage of next gen hardware, and will be released for free to anyone with a copy of the game. In addition, the developer have confirmed that save files will transfer over to the Series X version of the game.

  • To transfer save files, Xbox users can utilize the Smart Delivery program to transfer either their digital copy and all its save files to the Series X from the Xbox One.

Cyberpunk 2077 Has Received Another Huge Patch

Just yesterday we had the arrival of patch 1.3, the last big huge update to try to fix everything possible, although this patch also brings the first free DLCs, whose content is based on purely aesthetic content.

The fact is that many people expected that this new patch would also finally manage to give an acceptable performance and appearance to Cyberpunk 2077 on the base consoles of the last generation, something that more or less is achieved with the fluidity, managing to maintain more or less the 30 fps, although it does not seem that much can be done with the visual aspect of the title in machines like Xbox One S or the standard PS4. We can see all this in the video posted on that we leave below.

We will have to continue to see how Cyberpunk 2077 evolves, although it seems that not much more can be done with the old consoles and it would be necessary to play it at least on an Xbox One X.

Cyberpunk 2077 On Ps4 And Xbox One

Among the handful of platforms on which Cyberpunk 2077 released, PS4 and Xbox One fared the worst. Launch day was filled with reports of performance that reached single digits, along with what seemed to be an onslaught of bugs and glitches rendering the game unplayable. According to CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 had issues with data not streaming fast enough on these platforms, leading to extensive work down the line.

As of this writing, Cyberpunk 2077 running on a base PS4 or Xbox One at Patch 1.23 is certainly an improvement over the original state, but is only just on the verge of being playable. The framerates aren’t steady and asset streaming is still a glaring issue at times, with characters and environments loading much later than they should. Fans who already own the game for these platforms are welcome to give it another shot, but it’s still best to wait a little longer to purchase it if they haven’t.

Cyberpunk 2077 ‘continues To Disappoint’ On Xbox One Reveals Patch 12 Analysis

Microsoft

CD Projekt Red released Cyberpunk 2077’s massive Patch 1.2 last week, which featured an absolutely huge list of fixes and improvements across all platforms, but unfortunately Xbox One performance appears to remain poor.

Eurogamer’s Digital Foundry took a look at the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One over the weekend, and found that the PS4 Pro version was “clearly” improved, but the Xbox One X version continued to have “major issues.”

“Overall, the improvement to One X is less impressive and it’s still possible to see performance drop beneath 20fps simply by traversing dense environments at speed – an area where PS4 Pro sees dramatic improvements.

The alley combat stress test seems to run just as badly as it did in version 1.1. Overall, there is improvement, but it’s nowhere near as performant as PS4 Pro – a strange state of affairs.”

As for the base Xbox One S, Digital Foundry stated that it remains “extremely difficult to recommend,” highlighting that it “continues to disappoint and perhaps inevitably, it remains the worst performing version of Cyberpunk out there.”

Obviously, Cyberpunk 2077’s Patch 1.2 wasn’t wholly focused on optimisation, so there are still plenty of improvements that are worth noting, but hopefully CDPR can at least find a way to bring the Xbox One X version on par with PS4 Pro.

Cyberpunk 2077 On Pc And Stadia

PC is inarguably the best platform to play Cyberpunk 2077. The game does require some serious horsepower to run smoothly, but avenues for customizing visuals to balance fidelity and framerate are unparalleled. Ray-tracing features, high framerates, and DLSS 2.0 support are a few other aspects that make the PC platform a lot more flexible and superior.

While Google Stadia itself seems to be heading in a spiral descent, the platform is a viable option for fans wanting to experience Cyberpunk 2077. Stadia reportedly fared the worst when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077 sales, but triumphs in terms of performance. Much like how it is to play Cyberpunk 2077 on a high-end PC or a next-gen console, Stadia provides great performance and visual fidelity. A lot of it is dependent on the player’s network stability and quality, but it is a notable option for interested fans.

Night City Changes Every Body

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customise your characters cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.

A Look At The Performance Of Cyberpunk 2077 On Xbox One S After Patch 13

It has been several months since we entered 2021 and there are still many players who are looking forward to CD Projekt fixing everything bad that the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 brought, especially when it comes to the standard consoles of the last generation of consoles.

We have already seen several very large updates for the title that have been released little by little and that have brought a huge amount of fixes, although the main thing is that it has acceptable performance for old consoles that today still have a lot of people.

Cyberpunk 2077: 11 Minutes of Xbox One (Base Model) Gameplay

While the new versions of the game are scheduled for release this year, CD Projekt recently cast doubt on the chances of them arriving in 2021.

The target is to release the next-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 late this year, CD Projekts SVP of business development Micha Nowakowski told shareholders last month.

At the same time, keeping in mind the lessons we have learned during the past year and taking into account that this project still remains in development, we cant say with full certainty that the production schedule will not change.

In June, CD Projekt said it believed Cyberpunk 2077s performance had reached a satisfying level, following six months of patches designed to improve the game from its much-criticised launch state.

Crysis Remastered Trilogy Shows Its Launch Trailer

This trilogy that saw the light in the generation of the Xbox 360 is back but with great changes behind it, something that we could see last year with the remaster of the first installment and that this time is accompanied by the two sequels that continued the history.

Although there is still a week left until October 15, the launch trailer for Crysis Remastered Trilogy has already been revealed and we can find it published on different YouTube channels, including the franchises own .

Crysis Remastered Trilogy is a second chance for this saga that failed to take off too much, hopefully, this time it will have a different result for Crytek and that it will translate into a fourth installment in the not too distant future.

Cyberpunk 2077 On Ps5 And Xbox Series X/s

Next-gen versions of Cyberpunk 2077 are still on the way, but these platforms do provide the best avenue for playing. Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S is currently the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X version running via backward compatibility, with a few new bells and whistles. Most importantly, the frame rate is bumped to a target of 60 FPS.

The game holds its target well enough on these next-gen machines, with minimal frame rate drops and pop-in. Cyberpunk 2077‘s updated roadmap suggests dedicated next-gen versions may be pushed to next year, so fans willing to invest in the game for these platforms should keep their expectations in check.

Should You Buy Cyberpunk 2077

Whether Cyberpunk 2077 is worth buying will differ on who you speak with.

Cyberpunk 2077 is arguably worth buying on PS5 and Xbox Series X, but it would possibly be better to wait until February to get it on PS4 and Xbox One.

The game has been pulled from the PlayStation store, so it would be better to wait until its return as opposed to getting a physical copy.

CD Projekt RED have plans for two significant patches to be released by February 2021, and these will supposedly fix most of the major issues with the game on PS4 and Xbox One so its probably better to wait until then.

As for PS5 and Xbox Series X, while the game is largely playable, you may want to wait until the next-gen upgrades arrive sometime in 2021 for massively revamped visuals.

Theres also the point of contention as for whether Cyberpunk 2077 is worth buying for RPG enthusiasts as it falls short in this genre to the point where its twitter bio now says its an action/adventure game.

Speaking from a personal perspective, Cyberpunk 2077 is worth buying for the fantastic story, characters, Night City environment, and Keanu Reeves performance, but it would be best to wait until February at least if you play on PS4 and Xbox One .

Is Cyberpunk 2077 Fixed

When Cyberpunk 2077 released in the hilariously broken state that it did, I remember telling my friends I dont regret buying this game, if only to say I was here for all of this madness. Since that release, and the absolute deluge of memes that followed, CD Projekt Red has been quietly working in the background, releasing patches to fix the games galaxy of bugs, all while holding out hope that they can eventually get back to their original content roadmap. So, is Cyberpunk 2077 fixed?

Its a difficult question to answer, because it kind of depends on your definition of fixed. I played the entire story campaign to its conclusion before any patches were released , so if all you wanted to do is play through the main story, thats been possible for a while now, more or less. So far, the game has had two major patches and five hotfixes, with the games current version sitting at 1.23 as of writing. These patches have squashed a good portion of bugs, as well as improved the games stability, especially on the console ports where it is very sorely needed.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection Shows Us Its Eighth Season And The Surprising New Armor

343 Industries has already demonstrated its commitment to Halo: The Master Chief Collection when it comes to adding new content and having confirmed that the eighth season will be activated on October 13, rest assured that in each multiplayer game that we begin we will have the possibility to complete various challenges, with which we can level up and unlock rewards.

It is true that from Redmond they have been flirting with several early accesses, with which it is intended that the fans help them to correct some errors that may affect the experience. But knowing that this is going to be the last update before the release of Halo Infinite, we will hardly be able to avoid getting at the controls of all these new additions.

Is Cyberpunk 2077 Good

Yes, Cyberpunk 2077 is a good game.

However, the mileage for whether Cyberpunk 2077 is any good on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Series X appears to differ from person to person.

Speaking from a PlayStation 5 perspective, the game continues to crash every two to three hours, but other than that theres very few bugs other than a stack of cars permanently floating in the sky in the Badlands.

Theres also occasional pop-in when driving such as a vehicle appearing out of nowhere and making you crash, and V also becomes bald while looking in the mirror when wearing any headwear.

As for Series X, Eurogamer has a neat comparison to the PS5, but Microsofts next-gen console is largely good and sufficient to play on.

Lastly, in regard to PS4 and Xbox One, updates have made the game much better than it was at launch, but there still appears to be issues with crashes, bugs, and the occasional frame rate drops depending on who you speak with.

PC is the superior experience when it comes to visuals and much more, but when it comes to the substance Cyberpunk 2077 is good but disappointing as an RPG.

The story is fantastic, the characters are excellent, Night City is a beautiful metropolis full of spicy adverts that are always eye-catching, and combat is relatively decent.

Cyberpunk 2077 Is A Disaster On Xbox One & Ps4

Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Series X vs Xbox One Comparison [Load Times]

Cyberpunk 2077 players on Xbox One and PS4 are experiencing some massive issues with the game, clouding the otherwise positive feedback.

After years of anticipation, Cyberpunk 2077 has finally been released on all platforms. If you plan to play on Xbox One or PS4, you might be in for an unpleasant surprise.

Cyberpunk 2077 is, arguably, the most anticipated video game of all time. Apart from Half-Life 3, its hard to think of another game with so much hype surrounding its release.

After eight years of development, the game is finally here. Its a true visual masterpiece, set in one of the most immersive environments that video games have to offer.

That is, unless youre playing on last-gen consoles. Those who havent upgraded to the newest consoles were incredibly disappointed by what they found when they loaded-up Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time.

Although CD Projekt Red advertised Cyberpunk 2077 as a last-gen game, its becoming clear that anything short of an Xbox Series X and PS5 wont be able to handle it. Even players who have the game on Xbox Series S are reporting issues, obscuring the otherwise positive launch-day feedback.

Social media is littered with clips, screenshots, memes, and testimonials of Cyberpunk on last-gen machinery. The game is just short of unplayable on these platforms.

Cdpr Confirm Cyberpunk 2077 Update Is Set For Huge Setback Because Of Cyber Attack

CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the Cyberpunk 2077 February 1.2 update has been affected by the recent cyber attack.

The Cyberpunk 2077 1.2 update previously announced for February will not be going ahead as planned due to lasting effects caused by the recent ransomware attack on CD Projekt Red.

Cyberpunk 2077 continues to suffer issues and setbacks as it bids to recover from its difficult launch. It was over a month ago that CDPR co-founder Marcin Iwinski addressed the public to discuss the games tumultuous launch. During this video, he discussed why the game had not lived up to expectations on console and made assurances about their plans to fix the game.

This included two substantial updates that were being worked on the 1.1 and 1.2 patches. However, CD Projekt Red was the victim of a cyber attack a month ago that compromised the company, and as a result, the February update has been postponed.

The three-part Tweet discussed the impact of the ransomware attack saying: The recent cyber attack on the studios IT infrastructure and extensive scope of the update mean this, unfortunately, will not happen well need some additional time.

The official CDPR Tweet confirms that the massive 1.2 patch is now being touted for release in the second half of March.
