If youre reading this during the pre-order beta, voice chat is not available due to technical issues. As an alternative, you can press the right stick to select from a selection of lines, which includes greetings and requests for resources. If you make new friends, you can make a party on your console as long as its not a cross-play server.

If youre otherwise still running into issues, make sure you check your mic input on your respective console and also that there are no known issues on the official Rust Discord server.

Disable Voice Chat And Enable It Again

Open Call of Duty: Warzone

Go to the Options menu

Go to Account

Next, set the Crossplay settings to Off. Turn it back On again

Set the Crossplay communication settings to Off. Turn it back On again

Then, go to Audio

Change Voice Chat to Disabled. Turn it back to Enabled again

It is optional that you set Open Mic Recording Threshold to minimum. Setting this too high may prevent your voice from being heard by other players.

Save the new/altered setting and restart your game.

Check Your Fortnite Voice Chat Channels

Make sure you’re in the right voice chat channel. If you’re in the incorrect channel this may cause issues with you being able to hear teammates if you are cross-playing on multiple platforms.

Fortnite has two channels to use:Party Channel and Game Channel. In-game, you can switch between chat channels using theSocial menu:

Party Channel connects players in the same party .
Game Channel connects players on the same team but in different parties .

You might also be in Xbox or PlayStation Party Chat, both of which will keep Fortnite’s voice chat from working.

Destiny 2 has just activated the Cross Play feature for players on different platforms. It was released with the all-new season update of the game. Update 3.3.0 features a new season called the Season of the Lost and a host of new additions to the game. The cross play will allow you to play with players on different platforms. However, some players are experiencing issues with cross play in Destiny 2. While some players cannot access the feature, other players are having trouble with voice chat when creating fire teams using crossplay. Initially, Bungie stated that crossplay wont feature inter-platform chat during the launch of the cross-platform feature. However, Bungie has acknowledged the inter-platform voice chat issue on their official known issues page under Cross Play. So, we can assume that Bungie has added the voice chat facility but it is bugged.
