My Twitch Stream Will Not Voice Anyone Else Other Than Me

How to Twitch Stream Party Chat on Xbox One | NO EQUIPMENT

I’ve recently started streaming on twitch with some friends of mine mostly on fortnite for fun.

Most of them are PlayStation players but some aren’t.

They twitch stream and everyone in the party is heard. However, whenever I stream, only my voice is heard.

I’ve check the settings, they all have allowed their audio to be streamed and same for me.

We only use party chat rather than game chat.

I’ve tried tv output, headset output and both.

I’ve tried disabling and renabling all the settings.

I’ve googled everything and I keep getting that xbox doesn’t like to twitch stream cross platform but it won’t even stream another xbox player.

Any other suggestions?

Lightstream Studio Pc Screenshare Layer

Update: We released a new feature HERE that lets you add a Screenshare layer to the Gamer project. To do so you can use the browser version of Discord, then simply add a Browser Tab Screenshare layer to the projects scene and check the include audio option to add the Discord audio. You can then hide/delete the visual layer to keep the audio only if you like. Be sure to add your own microphone layer to the project so your audience hears you too.

Starting Your First Twitch Stream & Testing

The first time you stream from the Xbox One, you’ll be required to run some small tests to make sure everything is working properly and that the quality of the audio and visuals are as good as they can be. Here’s how to get everything set up.

  • Open the Xbox One game that you want to stream. You will not be able to stream to Twitch without a game being active. It’s okay if you open it and just leave it on its title screen. You don’t actually have to begin playing the game.

  • Return to your Xbox One dashboard and open the Twitch app. Click the Broadcast button on the lower-left side of the screen to reopen your Xbox One game and shrink the Twitch app to a small bar on the right side of the screen.

  • Click the Broadcast Title field and rename your Twitch broadcast. It can be anything you like. This is what your stream will be called on the Twitch website and in the apps.

  • Select Settings. You should see a preview of what your Twitch broadcast will look like in a small window at the top of the Twitch tab.

  • If you have your Kinect connected to your Xbox One, you will see a preview of what the Kinect sees within your stream window. If you wish, you can disable it by unchecking the Enable Kinect box. Reposition the Kinect camera within your stream by clicking on the relevant layout box onscreen.

How To Include Duo Partner Audio On My Twitch Stream From Xbox One

I’m trying to setup my son’s Xbox One to stream on Twitch and it mostly seems to be working. He can stream and with his headset you can hear his audio. What he can’t figure out and I am struggling to find something instructive about is how he can include his Duo or Squad partners audio to come thru on his stream. He has invited people to his party, did co-stream invites and he is still only getting videos with his audio. Appreciate any insight from Xbox One streamers who know how to get this working. Thanks

How To Include Game Chat Audio Using Xbox One Twitch App

I use the twitch app on my Xbox, mainly as a way to get the footage from the Xbox and onto my PC so I can then edit it and use it for youtube. This has never been a problem before, I simply play the games, my friends include their audio, then I download the VOD on my PC after the stream.

Yesterday, we played a game that has in game VOIP, so we all went into the game chat and played for 3 or so hours. This game session ended up being the most fun I have had on a stream, and for sure the best footage I have ever gotten. I was actually ecstatic to start editing the footage, but after watching some of the VOD back I found out my friends cannot be heard in the stream. You can still hear me, despite the fact that I am talking in game chat, but all of my friends audio is entirely lost.

Obviously there is nothing anyone can do to save the footage, but how would I go about ensuring this does not happen again?

The One Tip All Ps4 And Xbox Twitch Streamers Need To Know

Xbox 101: How to record party chat on Xbox one using twitch.

    ByMichael Andronico09 June 2019

With this handy trick, you can chat to your Twitch viewers on PS4 and Xbox One without disturbing other players.

Streaming to Twitch directly from your PS4 or Xbox One is a great way to try your hand at broadcasting without any expensive equipment or technical know-how. But while direct-from-console streaming is pretty foolproof, there are a few tricks you should know to make your broadcast as smooth as possible.

Your PS4 or Xbox One will automatically broadcast any audio coming from your gaming headsets microphone, which is great for chatting with your audience. But if youre playing an online game like Mortal Kombat 11 or The Division 2, this also means that your opponents or teammates will hear you while you thank GokuKilla400 for that Twitch follow. Fortunately, theres an easy fix to this.

Both the PS4 and Xbox One have party chat options, which allow you to create private chat rooms with your friends. This feature also doubles as a great way to isolate your chat audio from the general public while streaming, so long as you set up a party before broadcasting.

Heres how to set up a private party for Twitch streaming on both PS4 on Xbox One.

How to Set Up a Party on PS4

  • From the PS4 home screen menu, go to the top navigation bar and select Party > Create Party.
  • Choose your party settings. For example, you can decide if your party will be invite-only, or if friends or recent players can join in unprompted.
  • Select Create Party.
