How To Use Console Commands In Ark: Survival Evolved

If youre wanting a way to spawn various items, dinos, ascend, and even fly around the map in ARK: Survival Evolved, you can do so via console commands. In order to input these commands, you must first bring up the admin command bar. This is done by:

PS4 Access pause menu, hold together L1, R1, Square, Triangle.Xbox One Access pause menu, hold together LB, RB, X, Y.PC Press the Tab key to pull up the admin console. Pressing Tab again brings up a larger version of the console on the top half of the screen.

You will then see an admin command bar appear at the top of the screen. This bar will remain here even if you exit out of options but will disappear if left too long. If it does so, just input the same procedure as before.

Once the bar has been activated, you can then type in various console commands. All PC commands work on console versions. Here are some useful ones to get you started:

How To Use Ark Cheats

You can access the console in Ark by pressing the Tab keyyou’ll see a narrow box open at the very bottom of your screen. That’s where you’ll be typing in the cheats. To close the console, press Tab again.

In singleplayer mode, just type the cheats to enable them. In multiplayer, if you have the admin password, you’ll need to type ‘EnableCheats < password> ‘ before you can use cheats. Some cheats will require the prefix ‘admincheat’. In singleplayer, you don’t need to worry about a prefix. Just type them and press Enter.

Commands To Spawn Dinos

The game has two basic commands for spawning in creatures. The two main commands are Summon and SpawnDino.

• The Summon command just creates the dino exactly where you’re standing , then it pops out. The dino level is random, and if it’s a normally hostile dino, it’s going to instantly attack you! There’s also a related command, called SummonTamed that spawns in a dino fully tamed, which is safer.

• SpawnDino gives you a lot more control over how you spawn the creature into the game, including setting a specific level, and the distance and relative location to your character.

There are other summoning commands as well. Some of which are very similar , while some have some weird twists. These commands include: SDF, SpawnActor, SummonActorSpread, GMSummon. The ARK: Survival Evolved Wiki has more information on these other specialized spawn commands.

How To Enable Ark Cheats

To open the console to enter these Ark console commands, you should press the following key or button combinations:

• PC – Tab key
• PS4 – L1, R1, Square, and Triangle

This will then give you a small bar along the bottom of the screen to enter the Ark cheats you want to use. When you’re finished, just press the same key or button combination again to close the console.

This code worked fine last week but today it is a complete no go.

This is to spawn in a straight up tamed Tek Quetzal, which im guessing will be level 170 or so, but it is not working. Using this code I managed to spawn in a Poison Wyvern lvl 118 and a Therizino lvl 50 last Monday.

Ark Admin Dino Summoning

You can spawn all creatures in ARK: Survival Evolved, by using the following console command :

cheat summon < creatureBlueprint> 

If you are in singleplayer modus, it is not necessary to add cheat before the summon command. Furthermore, the blueprint names you can input are listed in the table below. For spawning an Ankylosaurus for instance, you would use the following command:

cheat summon Ankylo_Character_BP_C

This will summon an Ankylosaurus at a random level and with random colors. If you want to have a creature of specific level, you can take a look at this post on advanced summoning. There another command is used which gives you the possibility to state the level of the dino you want to summon.

Please note that this list also included some upcoming creatures, since the ARK Devkit already contains those blueprints. These creatures are colored red in the table and cannot be spawned in-game yet.

A little tip that might come in handy when summoning creatures: it is possible to force-tame them by looking in the creatures direction and using the following command:

Other Useful Admin Commands

If a dino is normally hostile, it will be spawned in hostile and will attack! So, some of the following other admin commands might be useful to prevent getting eaten by the things you spawned!

Like most admin commands, you need to precede these with “Admincheat”. It can also be shortened to “Cheat”. The upper case letters aren’t required either, so all lowercase works fine too.

Dinos can’t damage you. They will still try to attack you though, which can be sometimes be pretty annoying .While they’re busy attacking you, it does keep them from wandering off though! It also makes aiming some of the other admin commands very easy since the hostile dino will be right in your face trying to eat you.Type Admintcheat God again to turn it off.

How To Tame Every New Creature In Ark Genesis Part 2

Astrodelphis: Start by getting Element from the asteroids in the center of the map. Look for the Asteroid with the most crystals on it, and then whack those crystals with your Pickaxe. Next, seek out the Astrodelphis in the center biome to approach and pet it. It may attack after the first pet, but pet it a second time. After doing so, continue to feed it Element until itâs tamed.

This thing can be outfitted with thrusters and weapons, making it a very powerful tame for combat and traversal alike. Youâll need to craft its saddle first, though, which requires 140 Black Pearl, 370 Crystal or Primal Crystal, 55 Element, 2,500 Metal Ingot or Scrap Metal Ingot, and 500 Polymer.

Maewing: This is one of the most skittish dinos in the new expansion, which means itâs a particularly difficult one to tame. One method outlined by nooblets.com on YouTube is to attract it with Rare Flowers and then to pen it in using Billboards.

Once the Maewing is near you and alone, lure it with flowers and then place two billboards in a V shape. Then, just use two more billboards on its back and front to fully block it in. Once it canât move, pump it with tranq arrows till it falls. Fill its inventory with Mejoberries, and itâll eventually be tamed. These can be used to care for infant dinos or to lure wild infants away from their parents.
