Manage And Monitor Your Kids’ Activity
OK, all your accounts are set up. Now lets see how you would manage and monitor the activities of the child accounts. Browse to the Microsoft Family Safety page for your Microsoft account. Sign in with one of the adult accounts. You’ll see all the accounts listed for your family. Select one of the child accounts for which your Windows computer is connected.
At the screen for the childs account, select the Overview page. Go to the section for Screen Time. Click the button for Turn Limits on. Select a specific day to set the number of hours and the times that the child can use the computer. Click Done and then repeat that process for each day of the week.
Next, select the category for Spending and you can add money for the child to spend on items at the Microsoft and Xbox stores.
Finally, to view the activity for the child, make sure that the option for is turned on for their account. To check this, have them sign into their Microsoft account website, go to the Family section and select their name. Under Privacy settings on the Overview page, turn on the switch for if its not already on.
At your Microsoft account page, select the account for the child. At the Overview page, turn on the switch for Activity reporting. The page will show the childs activity for the current week.

Create A Child Account
You can also create a new Microsoft account for a child on the fly. At the Add someone screen, click the link for Create one for a child.
Choose an email address youd like to use and assign a domain of Hotmail or Outlook. Click Next. Youll be told if the email address is already taken and prompted to devise a different one. If the name is available, create and enter a password for the account. Click Next.
Type a first and last name for the account. Click Next. Enter the childs date of birth and click Next.
