What gets me is all the fucking ads after paying for gamepass ultimate. Like bro, you got me. I dont wanna get the master chief limited edition big mac attack
Id rather see that than xbox promoting dogshit shows, movies or fights.
This like, I own Gears 5 I played like 200 hours of it a few years ago Im good
Those are ads. Theyre not going anywhere.
Funny thing is, only one of those is an ad.
Yes! There is so much unnecessary clutter. Even the small change you made would be a huge improvement.
I agree, those ads need to be removed, they really irk me. Im sorry but Ive spent £450 on this machine, I dont think its unreasonable to not have ads plastered on the home page.
There was an edit going around on Twitter a while ago which essentially reduced the size of all the game tiles and made more of the background visible, it looked really good for such a small change.

Microsofts New Xbox One Dashboard Now Available With Updated Home Screen
Microsoft is rolling out its new Xbox One dashboard design to all consoles this week. The new design focuses on overhauling the home page of the Xbox One dashboard, with frequently used games and apps available immediately. The new Home design also includes the ability to add or remove rows to customize it further, and quick access to Xbox Game Pass, Mixer, and the Microsoft Store.
The Xbox maker has been testing this new home design for more than six months, and it definitely makes it easier to find and access frequently used games on the home screen. This was typically buried away in the past, and you can now turn an Xbox One console on and get right back to where you left off. The new design follows numerous changes to the Xbox One dashboard in recent years, including a Fluent Design update back in 2017, a big redesign in 2015, and updates that focused on speed.
Alongside the home screen changes, Microsoft is also allowing Xbox One owners to customize how notifications appear on a screen. Its a useful feature to stop notifications blocking content and it surprisingly doesnt exist on Windows 10 yet. You can now choose between six different locations on the Xbox One, which is five more than the default lower right-hand corner on Windows 10.
The new Xbox One dashboard update is available immediately, and consoles will receive the 10.0.18363.9135 update automatically.

Here are the steps to doing all four:
Link Your Controller With Your Profile
One of the best features of the Xbox dashboard is the ability to link a controller to a profile. This means that when you turn on a controller, that profile is automatically signed in and ready to go. Its a great way to get into multiplayer games fast. Its also fantastic for gamers who prefer a particular controller .
To link a controller to your profile, first, launch Xbox Settings. Then, under Devices & connections, choose Accessories. Select the controller that you want to assign, then hit the ellipsis button. On the next menu, youll be able to choose the Assign to option and pick a profile as well as use the This controller signs in setting to set up an automatic sign-in.
This works best if you have different styles or colors of controllers, but any mods you can make to differentiate will work.
