How To Redeem Xbox Gift Card Codes On Xbox One

Turn on your Xbox One and log in if you havent already.
Press RB on your Xbox controller four times to navigate to the Store tab.
Highlight Use a code, then press the A button on the controller.

The Code Was Damaged Or Not Readable
If the code was damaged, scratched, or warped in some way you may not be seeing the correct characters. Codes shouldn’t contain the following characters: A, E, I, O, U, L, S, 0, 1, 5.
If it’s a physical code, try returning it to the place you purchased it from and explaining that it couldn’t be redeemed.
If it’s a digital code, contact the person who sent it to you and explain that the code couldn’t be redeemed. If this code was a gift from another player, ask them to sign in to their Order history and select Cancel item.
In The Xbox Console Companion App
Right now, Microsoft is trying to switch gamers over to the new Xbox app. Sadly, you wont be able to redeem a code on this app. So well go ahead and just use the Xbox Console Companion app because its currently available and running.
Step 1: Click Start and select the Xbox Console Companion app from the Start Menu.
Step 2: Click the Microsoft Store symbol on the left-hand side of your screen.
Step 3: Choose the Redeem A Code option.
Step 4: Enter your 25-character code. Double-check that you dont use any hyphens. If you do, it wont work.
