Respawn Entertainment have confirmed that the secret SMG nerfs in Apex Legends Season 12 have now been reversed.
Apex Legends Season 12 brought a series of secret nerfs to SMGs like the R-99, Volt, Alternator, as well as the Prowler, and Respawn Entertainment have now reversed these changes.
Apex Legends Season 12 brought a plethora of changes to the battle royale, including various weapon buffs and nerfs, but players soon began to notice that their SMGs were far less accurate than usual.
The season update brought hidden nerfs to the Volt, R-99, Prowler, and Alternator, much to the frustration of players, and Respawn Entertainment have now reversed these changes, claiming they were unintentional.
After the Season 12 update went live, three of these SMGs received a significant hipfire spread nerf, and players noticed that The Volt did not get the magazine size buff that was promised for the weapon.
As a result, the SMG sprays were wildly off-mark when players fired them at targets, putting them at a serious disadvantage in terms of accuracy, and this caught the attention of the Apex Legends developers.
While it hasnt been confirmed why exactly these changes were in Season 12, its possible that Respawn were testing the nerfs privately, but they got shipped accidentally when the update went live.

How To Use Crossplay In Apex Legends
If you play Apex Legends on the PC, then you can only match with other PC players during normal matchmaking. However, its a different story for console players.
If youre on a PlayStation, Switch, or Xbox, then youll be paired with other players on consoles. You can still use your system to play with friends on PC, but youll need to already be in a party with them before the matchmaking begins.
If you are partied up with a PC player, you will be thrown into lobbies with both console and PC users, so keep this in mind before you complain about controller aim assist or cracked mouse and keyboard aim.

Does Fall Guys Support Cross
As of the Free for All update, cross platform play between PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch is supported. Provided all of your accounts are synced to your Epic Games account, as explained above, you’ll be able to play with friends across all platforms.
As of June 21, 2022, players will not be able to download Fall Guys via Steam, and must install the game through the Epic Games Store. Steam players will continue to receive the same updates as other players, however.

Fall Guys: How To Invite Cross
To invite cross-platform friends in Fall Guys, you first need to add them as friends on your Epic Games account. Youll log in or create an account the first time you load up Fall Guys on any platform .
Once youre logged in, open the Epic Games social panel on the right-hand side of the main menu. The input for this is different on each platform.
- PC: Shift + F3
- Xbox: View button
- Switch: Minus button
Here youll see all your friends on your current platform and those added to your Epic Games account.
If youre not already friends, enter your cross-platform friends Epic Games account name in the search bar at the top of the menu. When you see their account on the list, hit the Add Friend button next to it.
If they have sent you an invite, youll want to swap to the Friend Requests page . Here you can choose to accept or decline any friend requests youve received.
Once youve added them, you can now invite cross-platform friends in Fall Guys. You can do this directly from the social panel by selecting the Invite button next to their account name.

How To Enable Cross
When you download Rocket League, cross-platform play should be turned on by default. But if it isn’t, you can turn it on through the Settings menu.
1. Launch Rocket League and select Settings from the home page.
2. In the Gameplay tab, make sure that the Cross-Platform Play box has a checkmark in it. If it’s empty, click it.
You’ll now be able to match up with Rocket League players on any system.
Just note that there are some small limitations. Any cars or items that are exclusive to one system for example, only Nintendo Switch players can use the Mario and Luigi skins won’t look the same to other players. Players on other systems probably won’t see your profile picture either.
You also can’t voice chat with people on other platforms or type your own chat messages, but you can use the Quick Chat feature.
Are Apex Legends Servers Down
Despite a reasonably stable launch, players are currently experiencing some issues with Apex Legends Season 12. As well as FPS bugs for those on console, players are also experiencing lag spikes.
If you were seeing -9999 Apex Coins/Crafting materials and no Legends unlocked, this is because there was a server issue affecting a lot of players.
It seems Respawn was quick to work on a fix for the issue, as they are now claiming that problem has been resolved.
