Is The Xbox Series Xs 1 Tb Of Storage Enough
For now, sure. There wont be a ton of new games this year, and backward-compatible games work just as well on an affordable external SSD more on that in a moment.
In the long term, though, its probably not enough. AAA games were already unwieldy on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. As developers create larger worlds with higher-resolution assets, we will see far greater storage demands. On PC, Microsofts own Flight Simulator can surpass 100 GB, while and Warzone eat up 222 GB. Four or five big games will eat the entirety of the Xbox Series Xs internal storage.
What Is The Xbox Series X Uk Price
The Xbox Series X has been confirmed as retailing with an RRP of £449.99. This is about in-line with the traditional launch price for a console, and given the high-end components included in the console, including an SSD and significant amounts of GPU, its a solid price. What makes a pleasant change is the price is kinder to the UK than is usual on console pricing. In the past, consoles have launched with the same price tag in Euros and US Dollars as in pound sterling, so its actually beneficial to pick the console up at its UK price. For that price, youll also recieve the revamped wireless controller design, and dont be surprised if theres a few extra goodies such as Xbox Game Pass trial memberships included too.
Do Games On The Xbox Series X Run Above 60 Frames Per Second
The Xbox Series X can output games at 120 frames per second, but youll need the right game, the right TV, and the right HDMI cable. The good news first: The Xbox Series X comes with a good HDMI 2.1 cable, so you wont have to look for the right cable on Amazon. The bad news: The option only works on new, high-end televisions with high-frame-rate displays, like the LG CX series. These TVs can cost $1,000 or more than comparable TVs of the same size.
So far, Ive only played one game with a 120 fps mode. Its neat! But in no way would I recommend buying a new TV for a feature that likely wont be common for another couple of years. By that point, high-frame-rate displays will be more common and more affordable.
The Xbox Series X doesnt support Bluetooth audio, but it does support USB headphones.

Faster Performance Higher Frame Rates
The Xbox Series X and Series S have dramatically more powerful CPUs than previous-generation consoles didin the neighborhood of four times as powerful as their predecessor in raw speed and the number of cores and threads, to say nothing of seven years worth of efficiency and other improvements. This means faster user interfaces and much faster load times,1 as well as more sophisticated character and game behaviors, and just more stuff on screen at any given moment.
But the biggest improvements are most apparent in frame rates, which should hit 60 frames per second much more often this generation than last. The more frames per second, the more often the controller and the game are communicating. So a new Series X or Series S should feel like it responds faster and more reliably to your inputs. And when games cant maintain consistent frame rates, support for variable refresh rates should help keep those games from feeling unresponsive. Recent examples here include Diablo 2: Resurrected and Psychonauts 2, both of which offer 60 FPS modes on Series X and S unavailable on the Xbox One. The upcoming Battlefield 2042, is supposed to run at 60 FPS, but never manages it on Xbox One or even the PlayStation 4. On the Series X and S, performance in the recent beta was consistently smooth.
Xbox Series X Vs Xbox Series S Games

So heres what you need to know: both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are able to play exactly the same games, although theyll undoubtedly look best on Xbox Series X.
The kind of compromises we expect to see on Xbox Series S will focus on the drop to 1440p resolution from 4K, and maybe some more minor changes that probably wont be as noticeable.
Both consoles offer full backwards-compatibility with Xbox One, Xbox 360 and original Xbox games. So while we’re still waiting for some of the biggest next-gen exclusives like Fable 4 and Halo Infinite to launch, there’s still plenty to play, particularly if you have a large library of titles already. If you own a lot of physical copies, though, be mindful that these wont work on Xbox Series S due to the lack of disc drive.

Xbox Series X Review: Xbox Game Pass
Xbox Game Pass has been around for a while now, offering an easy way to get access to a suite of games for a rather affordable monthly price of $9.99 or £7.99. This has long made it one of the best bargains in the gaming world.
But I’d argue that Game Pass is an essential partner for the Xbox Series X. While the aforementioned launch line up of Xbox Series X games might be a little lacking, Game Pass provides a huge range of new and old games to play on the flagship console. Furthermore, many of these come with Xbox Series X and Series S enhancements, meaning the Xbox Series X is the best place to play such games you may have missed on the Xbox One.
Fork out $14.99 or £10.99 a month and you’ll get access to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which provides access to Xbox and PC games, as well as cloud streaming and save syncing between all three platforms. It’s simply a fantastic deal in fact, right now I’d go as far as to say that Xbox Game Pass is the best deal in gaming.
What’s more a whole suite of upcoming Xbox One and Series X games will be released day-one on Game Pass, meaning its one of the most affordable ways to get new games.

Xbox Series X Price: We Predict The Final Price

We’ve put together our predictions on how much we think Xbox Series X will cost when it launches this holiday.
By GameSpot Staff on June 28, 2020 at 1:08PM PDT
For years, Microsoft has been setting the foundation for its next-gen console, Xbox Series X. After having to recover from the blunder of the Xbox One’s launch, the company has spent the latter years of this past console generation catering more to the consumer by advocating cross-platform play and backwards compatibility and expanding its service model with things like Xbox Game Pass and the still-in-development Project xCloud. It’s setting the stage for a very interesting next generation if it can get the software support it needs from developers, including its own studios and third-party companies.
Still, as we learn more about Xbox Series X’s architecture, its games, and what Microsoft has in mind for the future it wishes to cultivate with the console, we still don’t know how much it’ll cost. Until Xbox Series X launches this holiday, our imaginations will likely continue to run wild, wondering about potential price points–at least until Microsoft finally confirms it during one its Xbox 20/20 streams.

This holiday season, many people will be deciding whether or not it’s time to pick up the latest gaming consoles, including the Xbox Series X. Besides having to consider the price of the console, people will also need to consider the cost of the games themselves. But whether or not games for the Xbox Series X will be more expensive is a complicated question.
The Xbox Series X and its smaller, digital-only counterpart, the Xbox Series S, will both release on November 10th, 2020. The Xbox Series X costs $499.99, but even if that’s in the budget for a gamer, they might have trouble getting their hands on one if they haven’t pre-ordered it already. Xbox head Phil Spencer has admitted that there likely won’t be enough supply of the Xbox Series X to keep up with demand. While no official reason was given for this problem, it likely stems from issues caused by COVID.
