Can Xbox Series S Do 4k
The Xbox Series S has been geared towards outputting 1440p at 60Hz, up to a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. It can upscale the picture to 4K to match your 4K TV, but you wont be able to see next-gen games in native 4K. The console also supports VRR, variable rate shading and ray-tracing just like the Series X.
Special Edition Blue Bundle
- Main article: Xbox 360 E Special Edition Blue Bundle
Approximately one year after the release of the standard Xbox 360 E, a Special Edition Blue Bundle was released. This was the only alternate variant of the Xbox 360 E that was released and the very last Xbox 360 model to be produced.
Approximately 10000 and 50000 models of this variant were made. The bundle included a Special Edition Blue console, which included a 500GB hard drive which was the most storage available in any Xbox 360 model. A standard 500GB Xbox 360 E was eventually released not long after the Blue console. A matching controller, copies of , and one month of Xbox Live Gold were also included in the bundle.

Always, ALWAYS estimate your shipping OVER unless you have a very exact scale. I usually estimate a couple of extra oz over to be sure.

Which System Should You Choose
The 360 Slims total package is superior to the one offered by the original 360. For users who have been complaining about the 360s lack of storage capability and inability to formulate a rapid wireless connection, the 360 Slim is the way to go. Increased freedom to connect in a wireless fashion is typically the primary motivating factor for users who eventually decide to make the switch.
Unless you are particularly infatuated with the 360 Slims particular feel and look, there is very little reason to make the switch. USB drives can be used on the original 360 to increase the storage capability and if the lack of wireless is problematic, a wireless dongle can remedy this issue. The single socket plug for Kinect is a plus, but many homes have additional plugs behind their television set and can handle multiple connections.
There is no denying that the 360 Slim looks much cooler than its older, more clunky counterpart. If you have recently experienced issues with your 360, then the 360 Slim is a more than adequate replacement. But, it is important to remember that most of the differences between the two system are merely cosmetic in nature.
Memory And System Bandwidth
The console features 512;MB of GDDR3RAM clocked at 700;MHz with an effective transmission rate of 1.4;GHz on a 128-bit bus. The memory is shared by the CPU and the GPU via the unified memory architecture. This memory is produced by either Samsung or Qimonda.
According to of Epic Games, Microsoft had originally planned on using only 256;MB of RAM, but the decision to increase it was based on Epic’s upcoming Gears of War title. Epic had been arguing for Microsoft to increase the memory for some time, and Tim Sweeney had sent Microsoft screenshots of what Gears would look like at 256;MB, and then at their proposed 512;MB. Shortly thereafter, Epic was the first studio told of new 512;MB size specification and claimed it cost them a billion dollars but felt it was better for gamers.
The Xbox 360 has an extensive amount of bandwidth in comparison to its competition; however, this statistic includes the eDRAM logic to memory bandwidth, and not internal CPU bandwidths. The eDRAM internal logic to its internal memory bandwidth is 256;GB/s. The high bandwidth is used primarily for z-buffering, alpha blending, and antialiasing; it saves time and space on the GPU die. Between the eDRAM die and the GPU, data is transferred at 32;GB/s. The memory interface bus has a bandwidth of 22.40;GB/s and the Southbridge a bandwidth of 0.5;GB/s.

Weight Of Different Video Games Consoles
Because video games come in different shapes and sizes, they also have different weight. Some have sleek and elegant designs, while some are fat and heavy. Their internal hardware also matters in this aspect. We know that the early consoles are lighter because the internal hardware was simple.;
Todays tech consoles are different from those of the previous ones though. Since the new consoles have disc drives as well as solid state drives and mega processors, they are considerably heavier than the original nintendo which only had a metal pin connector and one small motherboard.;
Below we will give a detailed list of all of the major consoles from the oldest to the latest.;;
Original Xbox Versus Xbox Series X
Way back in 2001, the original Xbox made a big splash on the come console scene. Not in terms of sales or anything–the PlayStation 1 still outsold the Xbox handily. I mean a LITERAL splash. Compared to the N64, Sega Dreamcast, and the PS1, the Xbox was huge.
But was it Xbox Series X huge? It was close. In terms of dimensions, the Xbox measured 12.6 x 10.2 x 3.9 inches and weighed 8.5 pounds . The Xbox Series X will clock in at 11.8 x 6.0 x 6.0 inches and weigh 9.8 lbs . By volume, the original Xbox was larger, but the Xbox Series X is heavier.
This doesnt consider the original Xbox controller, which was so large that smaller children literally couldnt reach the thumbsticks.

Sound And Noise Level
The noise factor has also been a point of contention for the XBox 260 aficionado. Even the most charitable observers compared the noise level that was created by turning on the console to standing next to a jet engine. Microsoft heard the complaints and rectified them before putting out the XBox 360 Slim, creating a quieter system that is easier on the ears.
New Features And Differences
Despite being a new model, the Xbox 360 E doesn’t really have many new features compared to the Xbox 360 S.
When the console was announced, Microsoft stated that it would run quieter and cooler compared to the original Xbox 360 and the slimmer redesign, the Xbox 360 S.
The console is slightly smaller than its predecessor the Xbox 360 S. The Xbox 360 E has also been completely redesigned on the outside to match its successor, the Xbox One.
Another major difference is the absence of multi-AV out port. Instead, what’s left is a jack for a 1/8-inch breakout AV cable. A cable for a composite connection comes in the box, but you’ll need to find a component one for HD.
Microsoft has also removed some of the versatile connection interfaces that were present on the Xbox 360 S. This includes the dedicated optical audio-out found on earlier Xbox 360 models. This means the only way to get surround sound on the Xbox 360 E is through a HDMI connection.
Another loss for the Xbox 360 E is one of its USB ports. This means that in total the 360 E only has 4 USB ports compared to 5 on older models.
The touch power and eject buttons from the 360 S have also been replaced with more-traditional physical buttons.

Inside, the Xbox 360 uses the triple-core IBM designed Xenon as its CPU, with each core capable of simultaneously processing two threads, and can therefore operate on up to six threads at once.Graphics processing is handled by the ATIXenos, which has 10;MB of eDRAM. Its main memory pool is 512;MB in size.

Xbox One Versus Xbox Series X
Now we arrive at the current batch of Xbox consoles where we actually have three Xboxes to talk about. The original version of the Xbox One was slightly larger than the Xbox 360 at 13.1 x 10.8 x 3.1 inches and weighed just 7 lbs . The smaller Xbox One S is 11.6 x 9.1 x 2.5 inches and weighs just 6.4 lbs. Finally, the Xbox One X is 11.8 x 9.5 x 2.4 inches and weighs 8.4 lbs.
All of these Xbox Ones are smaller by weight and by volume when compared to the Xbox Series X. What this means for TV cabinets and living rooms across the world, we’re not sure, but we suspect there will be quite a bit of remodeling done when the Xbox Series X releases later this holiday season.

Hey Guys,Wasn’t sure where else to post this…I’m trying to use USPS.com to do pre-paid online shipping labels to save a little on delivery confirmation. Unfortunately I don’t have a scale. Can you tell me approximately how much a normal PS3 and XBOX 360 Case/Game/Manual weigh? Will be mailing using small bubble mailer so if you know the weight of those that would be great too.Thanks.
Xbox 360 Versus Xbox Series X
Movin’ on up, we come to the Xbox 360 which came in two varieties. The original Xbox 360 clocks in at 12.2 × 10.2 × 3.2 inches and weighed 7.7 lbs . This made it substantially smaller than the original Xbox and also smaller than the Xbox Series X.
But the Xbox 360 Slim was smaller still. Coming in at 10.6 x 10.2 x 3.1 inches , the Xbox 360 Slim made it so that spy satellites in space couldn’t tell which side of the console war your living room sided with. It also weighed in at 7.7 lbs, meaning it wasn’t too difficult to pick up and bring to a friend’s house for a gaming session.

Difference Between Xbox 360 And Xbox360 Slim
To many consumers, there would seem to be very little difference between the XBox 360 and the XBox 360 Slim, but upon closer examination, a variety of changes have been made to the slimmer version of the popular gaming console. How do these two gaming systems compare and contrast with one another? Lets take a look.
Things I’d Love To Know About Microsoft’s Xbox 360 ‘slim’
Top Deals On Great Products
Picked by Techconnect’s Editors
Microsoft’s surprise E3 reveal–a slimmed up Xbox 360–looks smaller, sleeker, and comes packing serious feature punch, but what don’t we know about it that might surprise us?
Is the DVD drive tray- or slot-loading? Based on the screenshots, the answer’s probably tray-loading. Does it matter? Probably not, and I’m not privy to the general cost differential between slot and tray mechanisms, but a slot loader would arguably have been cooler, even if it forced Microsoft to slap its familiar tray-front ‘Xbox 360’ text somewhere else.
How hot does this thing really get? Smaller usually, though not always, means hotter, since your thermal ventilation space shrinks. It won’t be clear how this applies to the ‘slim’ until we’ve tested our review unit, but it’ll be interesting to see how it dissipates heat from the current iteration Xenon CPU and Xenos GPU, or whether those two were subject to a die shrink. The Xenon CPU was last updated from 90 nm to 65 nm in February 2007, and last I checked, the Xenos GPU’s was sitting at 65 nm. Also: See those stylish “vents” on the side? That look like the original Xbox’s? They may move air more efficiently than the Xbox 360’s “holes.” In fact I’d stake my reputation on it.
How much does it weigh? The current model weighs just shy of 8 lbs. Presumably the Xbox 360 slim weighs less, but how much less?
