When Battlefield 2042 officially released on November 19, 2021, EA confirmed that we wouldnt be getting the first season until early 2022. Recently some more information has come to light detailing when players should expect that highly-anticipated debut season.
Trusted Battlefield leaker Temporyal has shared that the Season 1 update is expected for . This aligns with EAs initial promise of an early 2022 release window.
The #Battlefield2042 client includes weekly missions for 12 preseason weeks. Season 1 seems to be scheduled for March 2022 . “Exposure” is probably the final name for the previously datamined “Ridge” map.

Last month, Microsoft announced it was testing making multiplayer free for free-to-play games, which meant allowing Xbox players without an Xbox Live Gold membership to be able to play these games online. Now this feature has been rolled out for all Xbox players. It gives them access to more than 50 free-to-play games that support online multiplayer.

While youll still have access to your Steam, Stadia, PSN, or Xbox Live friends, all crossplay friends have to be added using their Bungie name. To add a player as a Bungie Friend, all you have to do is enter their Bungie name on the Roster screen or on Bungie.net. Follow these steps to add crossplay friends in Destiny 2:
- Open the Director while playing Destiny 2
- Navigate to the Invites tab of the Roster screen
- Enter your friends exact Bungie Name in the Search by Bungie Name field

- Silver will be locked to the original account you bought it from, and can only be accessed again on that family of platforms . However, anything your purchase with that Silver – including various Eververse cosmetics – will be available on other platforms.
- DLC – including expansions, the Annual Pass and seasons – will be locked to the platform you purchased it with. To play that content on other platforms, you have to purchase it again on those platforms. This includes expansions such as Forsaken, Shadowkeep, and Beyond Light, and any Annual Passes.
- You will only be able to be part of a single clan with a cross save – meaning your current clan will be available on all platforms you play on.
