Madden 23 Early Access: Here Are Two Ways To Play Before The 2022 Release Date

Mid-August is, traditionally, Madden season. EA Sports has already unveiled the ratings for the NFL’s top players, along with members of the 99 club, so all that’s left is for players to get their hands on the game.

Some players, however, will be able to play the game early via early access. While the official release date is Aug. 19, EA Sports has ways to start playing on Aug. 16. One of them involves buying a premium edition of the game the other would require a subscription.

Unlike Sony San Diego’s “MLB The Show,” Madden will not get a Gamepass release. Furthermore, it should go without saying that to get early access, a preorder is required.

Here’s what to know about how to unlock early access for Madden 23.

What Are The Differences Between The Xbox Series S And Xbox Series X

The Xbox Series S is a lower powered console designed to play games in 1440P at up to 120fps. Its most powerful than any current-generation video game console, but wont offer the same level of performance as the Xbox One X or PlayStation 5. This system comes with a 512GB SSD and no disc drive, so youll have to download all of your games digitally. Despite its budget-friendly price, the Xbox Series S will deliver excellent performance whether youre playing on a 1080P or 4K TV.

The Xbox Series X is Microsofts most powerful video game console to date. Its designed to play games in 4K at up to 120fps , and will offer better graphics than both the Xbox Series S and Sonys PlayStation 5. It comes with a 1TB SSD for digital game storage, and a Blu Ray drive to play physical discs. This flexibility and the additional space make the Xbox Series X a premium gaming device, and the right choice if you have a nice 4K TV, and want to see video games at their absolute best.

Use Websites Not Apps

Websites tend to offer a better chance to get a console this year. The PS5 pre-orders worked best on websites, with some apps just showing the landing pages while other people were ordering.

Its a good idea to have apps available as a backup, but start on the website and be on the lookout for links directly to the products on social media.

Is The Xbox One Dead

How To Pre Order Xbox Series X and Series S | Kalmarn

No. Its true that the Xbox one sold poorly compared to Sonys PlayStation 4, but in many ways the Xbox series X marks a shift in how Microsoft views the traditional console cycle. Rather than thinking in generations and hardware, the company is now focusing on providing ongoing access to games as a subscription service, similar to how Netflix or Spotify operates.

Game Pass is Microsofts on-demand games platform, giving players access to over 100 full games for a monthly fee. Microsoft is investing heavily in its subscription offering, snapping up large games publishers like Bethesda in a bid to bolster its library of titles and lure players away from Sonys rival PlayStation Now service.

Even the very latest games on Game Pass are designed to be compatible with previous consoles as well as next-generation ones, so that over time, owning the newest hardware becomes less important for the majority of players. Older generations of Xbox are expected to dodge the landfill for a while yet.

Xbox Series X Vs Xbox Series S: Power And Price

Each of these Xboxes come with a AMD Zen 2 eight-core processor… what does this mean? It means that both of these things are super powerful. This will mean significant faster loading time with way more stability than any previous Xbox to date. For context, the Series S boasts four times the processing power of the Xbox One, and the Series X much more.

As for the graphics processing, the X has 12 TFLOPS of RDNA 2 graphics while the S has 4 TFLOPS of RDNA 2 graphics. And when it comes to RAM, the bigger brother sports 16GB, while the S offers 10GB.

Of course, the main difference for many players is the fact that the Series X has a disc drive, and the Series S does not. That’s reflected in the price difference: $499.99 / £449.99 for the X, $299.99 / £249.99 for the S. So do you take the less powerful , digital only Xbox, or shell out more for the disc-carrying Xbox X, with the option of selling on any game discs that you’re done with? Decisions, decisions…

Xbox Series X Price Vs Playstation 5 Price

After many leaks and speculation, Sony confirmed the PS5 Digital and PS5 prices at £360 / $400 / AU$599 and £450 / $500 / AU$749 respectively. That came as a pleasant surprise to those who’d expected the PS5 to be priced much higher than the rival Xbox Series X.

As it turns out, the full-fat PS5 and Xbox Series X cost the same, although the all-digital Series S undercuts the PS5 Digital Edition by a fair margin of £90 / $100 / AU$100.

Bear in mind, however, that the Xbox Series S is less powerful than the Series X, whereas the PS5 Digital Edition is identical to the standard PS5 except for the lack of a disc drive.

What’s Included With The Halo Infinite Xbox Series X

The Xbox Series X first launched in Nov. 2020, but with ongoing global chip shortages throttling production, purchasing these latest-generation devices has proven challenging. That hasn’t stopped Microsoft from unveiling a limited-edition Halo Infinite-themed Xbox Series X bundle, doubling as the first custom variant of its best Xbox console.

The Halo Infinite Xbox Series X bundle costs $550 for the 1TB console with a custom controller. It swaps out the all-black casing for metallic black and grey, coupled with space-themed detailing and gold accents drawing inspiration from its sci-fi setting. The design references the mysterious Forerunner structures that dominate the Halo landscapes and star-speckled skies, which according to Microsoft, reflect views from the Zeta Halo ring. The device also has a blue-tinted fan, a nod to its iconic AI companion, Cortana, and custom sounds when booting up the console.

The limited-edition Halo Infinite bundle includes the Xbox Series X and an accompanying Xbox wireless controller mirroring the console design. This exclusive gamepad differs from the Xbox Elite Controller, building upon the new Xbox Series X|S controller, featuring a dedicated Share button and improved directional pad. Buyers will also receive a digital code for Halo Infinite an HDMI 2.1-compatible “Ultra High Speed” HDMI cable that supports 4K resolutions up to 120Hz refresh rates.
