When youre playing games on console, teammates and opponents will see your Battle.net Battletag, not your Gamertag, PSN ID or Nintendo Account username. Your console username will still appear in some situations, including on top 500 leaderboards and friend lists.

How Will Bans Work
If Blizzard bans a player on one system, theyll still be able to play Overwatch on another platform thats connected to their Battle.net account. That is, unless theyve been banned for a more serious offense.
If the company closes someones Battle.net account for repeat or severe instances of breaking the rules, that person will need to buy another copy of the game and start a fresh Battle.net account to keep playing.
Meanwhile, you can report, mute, avoid and block players from other platforms.

Can You Play D2 Without Ps+
You can play Destiny 2 without PS Plus however most of the game modes and features will not be available. Story missions for the main Destiny 2 campaign and each of the DLCs you own. How Destiny 2 Crossplay Works Including Cross
Destiny 2 crossplay works through the Bungie Name system, which will be your identity across all platforms you play on. This name is automatically given to you when you first log in during Season of the Lost, and is a backend identifier if friends want to add you on a different system.
This name – as well as how to add Bungie Friends – is explained in more detail in later sections of this page.
In terms of matchmaking, an early worry was whether console players will be up against those on PC who have a mouse and keyboard when it comes to matchmade activities such as Crucible and Gambit, especially as Bungie announced it was targeting “discrepancies” between PC and console weapons.
How it works is – in competitive modes, Destiny 2 will keep players within the same PC or console ecosystem by default unless you are in a mixed Fireteam with a PC player. This means console players will face console players , and PC players will face PC players.
If you are in a Fireteam with at least one PC player, however, then you will enter the PC matchmaking pool.
Finally, know that Bungie is not done with building upon crossplay. Future features include:
- In-game, cross-platform voice chat coming “soon after launch”
- Bungie Name changing, text chat display on console and USB text input on console coming “winter”
How Does Adding Friends Work
If you add a friend through Overwatch on console, theyll also be added to your Battle.net friend list. To add a friend on your PSN/Xbox/Nintendo account only, youll need to do so through your systems standard social options .
If you opt out of cross-play, you wont see Battle.net friends on your friends list, only your console account friends.

Is Sony Even Aware Of War Thunder Cross
Railgun made the discovery when researching how the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game were separated from one another just out of idle curiosity.
I loved the game when I used to play my PS4 especially as its the one game I could play with my PC friends.
I got curious how they handled blocking Xbox and PS4 from playing with each other seeing as it had full cross play with PC. The simple answer is; they dont. I was able to search for my PSN username in the in-game friend finder on my Xbox One, add myself as a friend, send myself an invite, party up and play a match.

The interesting thing, aside from the fact that it exists at all, is the possibility that Sony and/or Microsoft are completely oblivious to the situation. Perhaps triggering it inadvertently when setting up console-PC cross-play functionality all those months ago.
Otherwise, as Railgun points out, Sony would surely have mentioned it a few months back when it announced it would trialing cross-play support between the PS4 and Xbox One via Fortnite.
Its intriguing, either way.

How Will Competitive Work
Players will be split into two groups for Competitive games: console and PC. Those on consoles can join the same Competitive lobbies across PlayStation, Xbox and Switch.
If you play ranked matches on PC, youll only be matched with other PC players. This is for balance reasons and to keep things fair, given the advantage mouse and keyboard players tend to have.
If you play Overwatch with a controller on PC, youll still only be matched with other PC players in Competitive games.
Top 500 leaderboards will be separated into three groups: PC only, consoles with cross-play enabled and consoles without cross-play switched on.
Competitive cross-play on consoles will go live in Season 29, which should start on July 1st. There wont be any changes to leaderboards or ranked games until Season 28 is over. In the meantime, PlayStation players will only play ranked matches against other PlayStation players. Ditto on Xbox and Switch. That will remain the case in the future if you disable cross-play.
