System Software And Features
Both consoles feature a similar to the Xbox One, but there has been a 40% reduction in memory use to improve its speed. According to the UI development team, the Home section loads in about half the time as it did on the Xbox One. The console’s Quick Resume feature will allow users to suspend and resume more than one game at a time, and also resume suspended games after a reboot of the console.
Several video and streaming media services will be available through the system software on the consoles’ launch notably, it will be the first time that will be available on Xbox consoles.
Microsoft plans to migrate the xCloud service from Xbox One S-based to Xbox Series X-based systems by 2021.
Microsoft did not restricting the ability for developers to release games that are exclusive to Xbox Series X. The company is preferring a “soft” transition more in line with , where developers can target optimal play on high-end hardware , but still allow the game to be played with reduced fidelity on lower-end hardware .

The Roblox Status Twitter account reports that the game will be back up on October 29th.
However, this message was posted at 03:00 BST and said that it shouldnt take any longer than six hours for the game to return. Its been longer since but they have now reported that the issue is identified and that they are hoping to return the game soon depending on how much damage has been caused.

Xbox Live is down tonight, with over 20,000 reports coming in from fans affected by the current outage.
The good news is that Microsoft is aware of the problems and looking to fix them right now.
The bad news is that we dont know how long it will take for the engineering team to fix everything.
There is no ETA on when servers will be back online or how long Xbox One and Xbox Series X consoles will be affected.
We’re currently investigating reports of users unable to sign in to the Xbox Network,” a message from Microsoft reads.

Update: Services seem to be coming back up!
Reports of the service going down first cropped up roughly 30 minutes ago as of writing this post, with many on Reddit verifying that Xbox live is indeed down, at least for online gaming.
While we were able to sign into Xbox Live just fine, accessing the storefront, and trying to play some online matches prompted us with a connection error to Xbox Live.
Sadly Microsoft has yet to acknowledge this issue, though their Xbox Live support page does say Limited for games and gaming with it detailing server connection issues to Outriders, which should now be returning back to normal for the game.
Interesting enough, a number of Microsoft run websites are also down such as HaloWaypoint and Azure services, which has been acknowledged as having issues.

When Will The Fortnite Server Be Back Up
The latest update to come out is the 16.30 update which is arriving this week as part of the next Season 6 post-launch update.
Most of the time, the update isnt one that causes it to bring the servers down, but this one is and maintenance is scheduled for 4 AM ET on the 27th April 2021.
Following such an update, Fortnite fans typically only have to wait a couple of hours for the servers to be back up, so it should stick to a similar schedule unless something messes up during maintenance. It is very slim that this will happen, but if so, it would be likely that the servers would be down for a couple of games maximum.
Epic Games and Fortnite on social media will be the place to go to see the exact moment the servers are back up and running. Chapter 2 Season 6 brought about a lot of new changes so it is easy to see why many hope the servers arent down for long.
